Upgraded to questionable Arias (hamstring) is questionable for Wednesday's trip to Austin, per the MLS injury report.

Impact Arias has been upgraded to questionable after more than a month on the sideline. As with any muscular injury there's no guarantee that he's ready to go straight away in a big role, but he had taken a starting place before the injury. It will be worth watching Arias' status when Salt Lake announces their gameday roster.

Out with hamstring injury Arias is out for the time being due to a hamstring injury.

Impact Arias picked up a muscle issue in mid-September, and the defender hasn't returned since then. With another match on a quick turnaround Saturday at home against New England and a two-week rest period afterwards, it wouldn't be surprising if Arias misses both games and gets reassessed ahead of the Oct. 10 match against Philadelphia after the break.

Picks up muscular issue Arias was unable to continue in Saturday's game versus New York City FC after feeling a sudden pain in the right leg.

Impact Arias left his place on the field to Kobi Henry in the early stages of the second half Saturday. The Colombian has been a consistent presence in the back line lately, but he's now at serious risk of missing at least a few games if his muscular injury is confirmed. While he was not in top form, this blow adds to the worries of a team that is also without Lukas Engel (hamstring), Sam Junqua (concussion) and Justen Glad (groin), leaving their defensive depth significantly reduced in the short term.

Makes four clearances at Colorado Arias had one tackle (one won), four clearances and four interceptions in Saturday's 1-0 defeat versus Colorado Rapids. In addition, he was given a yellow card in the 89th minute.

Impact Arias led Salt Lake in both clearances and interceptions, but it wasn't enough to avoid the road loss. The centerback also received his first yellow card of the season in the proccess. That was his fourth start in five overall appearances.

Impact Arias is a centerback who signed with Atletico Nacional as an 18-year-old in February 2022 and went on to make 74 appearances across all competitions, scoring once and helping the Colombian club win five domestic trophies, including the 2022 Apertura and 2024 Clausura league titles. Since joining Real Salt Lake on loan, he has yet to feature in a competitive match, having dealt with a long groin injury, and was named to the bench for the first time this season in the club's last game before the World Cup break, a 1-1 draw with Minnesota United. Chief soccer officer Kurt Schmid pointed to his consistent development and maturity at Nacional as key factors in making the move permanent, adding that the club sees him as a long-term contributor to the defensive unit once he works his way back to full fitness.

Available for first time Arias has returned from a long groin injury and has been named on the bench for the first time this season for Saturday's clash against Minnesota United.

Impact Arias has not featured since joining Real Salt Lake on loan from Colombian side Atletico Nacional, but his return to the bench is a significant boost for the club as it signals he has overcome his injury. His role going forward however remains to be seen as he works his way back to full fitness.

Out with groin injury Arias is sidelined Saturday against Atlanta due to a groin problem, his team reported.

Impact Arias was expected to give his team defensive strength following his loan move from Colombian side Atletico Nacional, but he hasn't been able to debut in MLS. His recovery timeline is still unknown, so he'll be a doubt for subsequent matches. All of Lukas Engel, Philip Quinton and Justen Glad will feature in a three-man back line in the meantime.

Loaned to RSL Arias has been loaned to Real Salt Lake from Atletico Nacional.

Impact Arias is off to the MLS this season as he signs with RSL on loan, with the defender loaned to the club until July and holding the option to permanently sign with the club. The 22-year-old is a decent prospect with 75 games to his professional career already, a defensive option with promise. He will now have to build a role with the club, as they do have their starting defenders returning for another season, more of a depth option to start.
