Clears injury report Rosales (hamstring) is absent from the Minnesota injury report for Saturday's trip to Kansas City.
Impact Rosales was back in training earlier in the week and was reportedly trending towards playing. It appears that will be the case as he heads into Saturday's decision day clash against Kansas City with no injury designation. Interim manager Sean McAuley also told reporters that Rosales could return to the starting XI, replacing Bakaye Dibassy at left-back.
OCTOBER 19, 2023 • ROTOWIRE
Aiming for Saturday return Rosales (hamstring) is expected to set up a possible come back for Saturday's match against Sporting Kansas City, per Andy Greder of the Pioneer Press.
Impact Rosales has not stepped foot on the pitch since Sep 21 as he deals with a hamstring injury. He has been able to keep consistent appearances in the starting XI when healthy, making a start his previous 12 MLS games, while recording a goal with 42 crosses (six won) in that span. Bakaye Dibassy is set to start at left back if he is not ready to return in time for Saturday's final game of the regular season.
OCTOBER 17, 2023 • ROTOWIRE
Left out of international call ups Rosales was not called up by the Honduran national team as he continues to deal with a hamstring injury.
Impact Rosales' season continues to be a jeopardy as he continues to deal with a hamstring injury. Injuries have been a problem for the defender this season, making just 13 starts in 18 appearances during his third year with the team, totaling a goal with 32 tackles (22 won) and 55 crosses (seven accurate) thus far.
OCTOBER 11, 2023 • ROTOWIRE
Set for extended absence Rosales will be out for a few weeks with a "pretty bad" hamstring injury, head coach Adrian Heath told media, including Andy Greder of the St. Paul Pioneer Press, on Friday.
Impact Rosales picked up the injury during Wednesday's matchup against the Galaxy, and while no timetable has been provided for his return, there's a chance he might be out until after the international break, or even more, depending on the recovery process. Rosales had been playing at left-back of late, and in his absence, Zarek Valentin could get the nod in that role.
SEPTEMBER 22, 2023 • ROTOWIRE
Leaves match early Rosales (hamstring) picked up an apparent injury in Wednesday's game against the LA Galaxy.
Impact Rosales exited early from Wednesday's match after appearing to injure his hamstring. The midfielder looked to have initially gone down in the first 10 minutes of action and continued to play with the injury until being forced off in the 36th minute. Based on the fact that he played after enduring the injury, you can probably come to the conclusion that his knock isn't very serious and is most likely just a pulled or strained hamstring. He will most likely be a game-time decision for Saturday's match against St. Louis, and if he is not able to play, then expect Jan Gregus to fill in his spot.
SEPTEMBER 21, 2023 • ROTOWIRE
Back with Minnesota Rosales returned to Minnesota training, Jerry Zgoda of The Star Tribune reports.
Impact Rosales is back in training following his time on international duty with Honduras. He's now an option once more and could see minutes as soon as Saturday's clash with Kansas City.

Impact Rosales had a decent outing against Seattle, notching 11 crosses, four shots, and a chance created in his 90 minutes of play. He registered his season high in shots and crosses in this match and experienced one of his best outings yet. The 22-year-old has only appeared in 15 matches this season due to injury and being called up to the Honduras national team for the Gold Cup, but should start to feature more now that he is healthy and back with the squad.

Impact Rosales appeared to suffer a knock in Wednesday's loss to Austin FC, but he isn't carrying an injury designation into the weekend. Impact Rosales earned his third start in a row and scored his first MLS goal after three seasons in the league. However, the day was spoiled as he was forced off with an upper leg injury. He will undergo further test to find out the extent of injury, but could be in doubt for Saturday's clash with Toronto. If he has to sit out, then Kervin Arriaga could be an option to replace him with Robin Lod out with a long-term knee injury.

Impact Rosales started just his second league game of the season on Saturday, lining up on the left wing as his side defeated Portland. He's a versatile backup option who can play all across midfield for Minnesota, but he's only going to slip further down the depth chart once Emmanuel Reynoso (not injury related) returns to the squad.
