Impact It was originally a month and now it's three months for Shelvey, who underwent surgery on his hamstring. This means he'll likely be out until after the World Cup, which may force Newcastle into a new midfield signing. Joe Willock started the opener and Sean Longstaff remains an option, but that's about all they have outside of youngster Elliot Anderson, who is likely to be loaned out.
