Contract negotiations ongoing Kempin's contract has run out at D.C. United, and he will become a free agent on Jan. 1 if no new deal is agreed upon.

Impact Kempin kept one clean sheet in nine MLS games this season in D.C. The club is still in discussions with the 28-year-old keeper for a potential new contract, but if nothing materializes then he will enter free agency at the end of the year.
