Julian Weigl - Consistent starter Weigl provided a pair of assists in 33 appearances (all starts.)
Impact Weigl played a major role in holding midfield yet again, missing just a single match due to a suspension. The defensive midfielder was one of the most crucial pieces of the midfield throughout the campaign, but he remains a bit of a limited option moving forward as he offers little in the attack.
MAY 21, 2025 ROTOWIRE
Florian Neuhaus - Role disappears Neuhaus made just 18 appearances (two starts), assisting once in the Bundesliga.
Impact Neuhaus essentially lost any sort of hold on a starting role this season, falling to the bench, where he hardly played. The midfielder has been with Gladbach for seven seasons, but barring a massive change it seems his time with any sort of significant role is done. Neuhaus has also been linked with a move away from Gladbach, especially to Augsburg.
MAY 21, 2025 ROTOWIRE
Lukas Ullrich - Takes starting job Ullrich scored once and added four assists as the start at left-back.
Impact Ullrich took the starting job from Luca Netz and never looked back. The defender was brilliant in his second Bundesliga campaign and seems to be the top starting option at left-back heading into next season with Netz firmly planted on the bench.
MAY 21, 2025 ROTOWIRE
Luca Netz - Falls to bench Netz made only eight starts (24 appearances) in the Bundesliga assisting twice.
Impact Netz seemed to have a breakout last season with four assists in a career-high 2,200 minutes. That didn't carry into this season, though. Netz completely fell out of contention for minutes for the most part, playing less than 1,000 minutes on the way to just a pair of goal contributions.
MAY 21, 2025 ROTOWIRE
Joe Scally - Ends on bench Scally was left on the bench for the final two matches in the Bundesliga.
Impact Scally was the unquestioned started at right-back throughout most of the season, though he oddly ended on the bench in the final two matches with little left to play for. Scally didn't offer much going forward this season, his second campaign without a goal contribution. He should remain a major contributor next season barring a surprise transfer.
MAY 21, 2025 ROTOWIRE
Kevin Stoger - Seven goal contributions Stoger scored three times and added four assists during his first season in Gladbach.
Impact Stoger has become a bit of a journey man since making it to the Bundesliga with Fortuna Dusseldorf. The midfielder played for his fourth club this season and produced more of the same, with seven goal contributions in 1,544 minutes. It wasn't as good as his 16 goal contributions with Bochum last season, though he did this in 1,200 fewer minutes. Stoger should remain a large part of the Gladbach plans for next season.
MAY 21, 2025 ROTOWIRE
Tomas Cvancara - Bench role once more Cvancara scored twice in 28 appearances (seven starts) in the Bundesliga.
Impact Cvancara put together another disappointing campaign. He was left on the bench for the most part and made seven starts once again. This time he was less efficient in front of goal and earned only a pair of goal contributions. That sort of return makes it unlikely he takes on a larger role next season.
