Agrees to join Liverpool Konate has signed a deal with Liverpool and will join the club July 1, subject to international clearance and a successful work permit application.

Impact Konate gives Liverpool another young, up-and-coming center-back, who has spent the last few seasons at Leipzig. On the downside, he's struggled to make the pitch the last couple years because of injury. He made 27 starts in the 2018/19 campaign and then 14 the next two seasons.
