Impact Bueno missed the last game against Arsenal due to an undisclosed issue that is serious enough to make him miss a second game in a row. That said, the versatile defender is expected to be back available for the clash against Liverpool next week. Bueno has been only a bench option since the arrival of new coach Rob Edwards, therefore his absence isn't impacting the starting XI of the Wolves.

Returns to bench Bueno (back) is on the bench for Monday's clash with Manchester United.
Impact Bueno is back on the bench for Monday's clash after overcoming a back injury that left him out against Nottingham Forest. The defender wasn't deemed fit enough for a spot in the starting XI, so David Moller Wolfe continues to start at left-back.
DECEMBER 8 • ROTOWIRE
Suffers back injury Bueno was absent from Wednesday's 1-0 loss to Nottingham Forrest due to a minor back injury, according to Liam Keen of the Express and Star.
Impact Bueno was missing from the team sheet Wedensday despite no prior notice of an injury, with it now known he was dealt a minor back injury. The good news is the injury is minor, although the club only has until Monday to recover before they take the field against Manchester United. He will then be in a race against time to be fit for Monday, with David Moller Wolfe as a possible replacement
DECEMBER 4 • ROTOWIRE
Available for selection Bueno (undisclosed) is expected to be available for selection to face Newcastle United on Saturday.
Impact Bueno departed the 3-2 loss to Everton with an apparent injury, but the left wing-back is expected to be available for this weekend's clash. That game against Everton was Bueno's first start of the season, and if he returns to the bench, expect David Moller Wolfe to start on the left side of the midfield.
SEPTEMBER 12 • ROTOWIRE
Forced off injured Bueno (undisclosed) had a decent outing in Saturday's 3-2 loss against Everton but was forced off in the second half due to an injury, according to Nathan Judah.
Impact Bueno contributed decently in Saturday's game despite the loss with five tackles, three crosses and two interceptions but ended his shift in a sad way after being forced off due to an apparent injury. That said, if he cannot recover in time during the international break, his absence will not force any changes in the starting XI since he has started only one of the first three Premier League matches this season.
SEPTEMBER 1 • ROTOWIRE
Returns to Wolves Bueno has returned to Wolves from Feyenoord after his loan, according to his parent club.
Impact Buneo spent the last season on loan in the Netherlands but has returned to England following the conclusion of the season. He would see decent time on the field while on loan, appearing in 30 games while bagging four assists, with nine of those appearances coming in UCL play. The defender will now return to Wolves with a spot to potentially fill after the exit of Rayan Ait-Nouri to Manchester City, as reports have surfaced that he is a top choice to fill his role after the loan spell.

Takes four shots in Inter meeting Bueno had four shots (two on goal), one tackle (one won), two interceptions and three crosses (zero accurate) in Tuesday's 2-1 defeat against Inter Milan.
Impact Bueno was the liveliest man for his team on offense, leading it in attempts, but Yann Sommer parried away his efforts. He has assisted once and notched six chances created, 22 crosses (seven accurate), nine tackles and 11 interceptions in nine Champions League appearances (six starts).
MARCH 12 • ROTOWIRE
Assists on equalizer Bueno provided the assist on Feyenoord's equalizing goal in a 1-1 draw against AC Milan Tuesday. He finished with four crosses (three accurate) and two interceptions.
Impact The goal pushed Feyenoord through to the next round in the Champions League, and Bueno was key in creating chances for his side. He should be in line for another strong outing Saturday against Almere, who have allowed 45 goals this season.
FEBRUARY 18 • ROTOWIRE
Returns in league play Bueno started in Saturday's match against Heracles Almelo.
Impact Bueno returned to play Saturday, taking the pitch once again in league play. This is solid news for the club, as he should be deemed fit moving forward. He has started in three of the four UCL matches he has been available for and will look to return to that spot now that he is fit.

Dropped due to injury Beuno is not an option for Tuesday's match against Manchester City due to injury, according to his club.
Impact Bueno is a late scratch for Tuesday's match, with the defender having been ruled out ahead of game time due to an undisclosed injury. The club will hopefully give more on his status in the coming days, as a timetable and the extent of his injury are unknown. He has started in all three UCL games he has played this season, so this will force a change, with Gjis Smal as a probable replacement.

Starting Wednesday Bueno (foot) is in the starting XI for Wednesday's clash with Benfica.
Impact Bueno was a late doubt for Wednesday's clash but is now back in the starting XI. The defender overcame a foot issue and passed all his late fitness checks, clearing him to go straight back into the XI. Bueno got the start and played 71 minutes last time out in the Champions League.

Dealing with foot issue Bueno is a doubt for Wednesday's trip to Benfica, according to manager Brian Priske. 'Hugo is still recovering, but he has travelled with us and will train with us. Hopefully his...
Impact Bueno did travel to Portugal, so he's at the very least trending towards playing during Wednesday's clash. The defender has been dealing with a variety of issues since joining Feyenoord, but when fit he should be in contention for a spot in the starting XI.

Appears off bench Bueno (thigh) appeared off the bench for 33 minutes in Saturday's 1-1 draw to Nijmegen.
Impact Bueno missed out on the club's opening UCL match of the season but has already recovered to be an option after getting time in a league match. He isn't expected to see major time this season and will likely only serve off the bench, sticking to more of a rotational role now that he is fit.
OCTOBER 1, 2024 • ROTOWIRE
Out for opening UCL match Bueno (thigh) is out for Thursday's match against Leverkusen.
Impact Bueno will have to wait longer on his return from thigh issues, as he is still dealing with the problems he picked up in August. No updates have been released on a return date, but his next chance to appear will be Oct. 2 against Girona. Once fit, he is likely to see time in the starting XI.

Struggling with thigh issue Bueno (thigh) is a doubt for Thursday's clash with Leverkusen.
Impact Bueno picked up the thigh issue in August, and has yet to appear since that issue. The defender could return for the open of the Champions League, but more likely than not he won't be ready for the opening match. When fit Bueno figures to be a consistent option in the starting XI while on loan in Rotterdam.
SEPTEMBER 10, 2024 • ROTOWIRE
Bench player in 2023-2024 Bueno recorded 29 crosses (10 accurate) and recorded 20 clearances in 22 appearances (seven starts) this past season. He added one goal in two FA Cup appearances.
Impact Bueno started 16 matches during the 2022-2023 campaign, so it was a bit disappointing to see his minutes nearly struck in half this past season. However, with Rayan Ait-Nouri playing most of the season, Bueno's lack of minutes is not a massive surprise. The 21-year-old will look to compete for Ait-Nouri's spot next season in order to see more playing time, although that currently does not seem very likely.
JUNE 7, 2024 • ROTOWIRE
Action off bench Bueno came off the bench during Tuesday's 3-2 win over Brentford in the FA Cup.
Impact Bueno was another injury doubt that made the return at the last minute during Tuesday's win. The full-back came off the bench just three minutes before extra time, giving him perhaps more run that expected. Still a return off the bench is a good sign that more minutes are soon to come for Bueno.

Dealing with calf issue Bueno was back in training after missing the first leg of the club's FA Cup clash against Brentford on Jan. 5 due to a calf injury, according to manager Gary O'Neil. "Hugo Bueno tr...
Impact Bueno has trained a couple of times since going down with his injury, according to manager Gary O'Neil, and is expected to be in the squad for the second leg of their third-round FA Cup clash against Brentford on Jan. 16. He should come back into the team sheet rivaling for starting time immediately, as he becomes the club's first option at left-back seeing Rayan Ait-Nouri is out due to participating in the AFCON with Algeria. Wolves will hope he is healthy enough to get the starting spot, as the club will be left with Matt Hoherty or Santi Bueno to start if he is not. Even if Bueno doesn't start, still expect him to get time off the bench, as they will want to test his fitness as they head into the second half of the campaign.
JANUARY 15, 2024 • ROTOWIRE
Starts at left-back Bueno (strain) is in the starting lineup for Saturday's clash against Nottingham Forest.
Impact Bueno left Tuesday's win over Burnley with cramps in the latter stages of the second half, but it wasn't a severe injury, and he will continue playing on the left side of the defense. He's set to make his third start in a row, and he racked up three crosses, nine tackles and four clearances over his previous two.

Impact Bueno might have left the game extremely tired in a game where the Wolves secured a 1-0 win, but the muscular injury shouldn't be serious. Barring anything odd in the recovery during the last few days, Bueno should be fit enough to start against Nottingham Forest on Saturday.
DECEMBER 8, 2023 • ROTOWIRE
Secures long-term extension Bueno agreed to terms on a contract extension with Wolves that will keep him with the club through 2028.
Impact Bueno has been dealing with a hamstring problem that sidelined him for five matches. He did make the squad versus Tottenham on Nov. 11 but failed to get onto the pitch. Even prior to getting hurt, the defender was seeing limited minutes, having started just once in six appearances. As such, fantasy players probably shouldn't be expecting Bueno to suddenly feature prominently on the pitch moving forward.
NOVEMBER 20, 2023 • ROTOWIRE
Available versus Tottenham Bueno (hamstring) is on the bench for Saturday's game against Tottenham.
Impact Bueno is fit after missing five games due to a muscular injury. He returns to his usual bench role, as he had started just once while healthy, registering two key passes, ten crosses (three accurate), and three shots (zero on target) in six appearances.
