Impact Gavi hasn't been much of a regular for Barcelona this season, as he's made just six starts across 16 appearances between LaLiga and the UEFA Champions League. However, he remains a key member of the squad and a long-term building block. He's now locked up for years to come.

Impact Gavi made the starting lineup for the third time this season, and his inclusion paid off early on as he set up Pedri's opener in the 30th minute of the match. It was the first goal contribution for Gavi in 13 appearances since his return from a serious knee injury. He could retain playmaking value if he features again in a No. 10 role, but it seems unlikely for him to see a lot of action in that position with the skilled Dani Olmo in contention as well.
