Ruled out Sunday
Delph will miss Sunday's clash with Brentford after suffering a muscular injury. Manager Frank Lampard told reporters, "Fabian won't be fit for the game against Brentford. We'll se...
Impact
Since returning from a thigh problem, Delph has started five of the club's last six contests in which he generated nine tackles (seven won), seven interceptions and six clearances. Given his limited offensive upside, he managed just one shot (off target) over that same stretch, the midfielder's absence is unlikely to impact the majority of fantasy players. With Delph sidelined, Allan should be in the mix for a spot in the starting XI, though Donny van de Beek (groin) may be an option as well.

Suffers possible muscle issue
Delph was forced off in the 81st minute of Wednesday's match against Watford with a possible muscle injury.
Impact
Delph was getting his third-straight start Wednesday, the most he's had in a few years, so it's not surprising that he may have picked up an issue. Delph has helped the team gel a bit in the midfield since returning from another injury last month, but it looks like Allan may have to start in the midfield the final few matches.

ROTOWIRE
Will be option Wednesday
Delph (thigh) is available for Wednesday's match against Burnley, according to manager Frank Lampard.
Impact
Delph is available for the first time since December, which means it's hard to see him starting even if Everton are in need of midfielders. It's unclear what role he'll have the rest of the way, but he could get time given the struggles and injuries to everyone else in the side.

Still one week away
Delph (thigh) won't be ready to play against West Ham United on Sunday and is still a week from returning to action. Manager Frank Lampard told reporters, "Fabian Delph, we're hopi...
Impact
Delph has been out of action since mid-December due to his thigh problem but appears to be finally nearing a return to action. Even if the midfielder is cleared to play, he is far from a lock for the starting XI and would likely serve primarily as a bench option behind the likes of Abdoulaye Doucoure and Donny van de Beek.

ROTOWIRE
Back in full training
Delph (thigh) returned to full training over the international break and is expected to be available going forward.
Impact
Delph doesn't have a major role on the team and he's been out since December, so his fitness likely has to be worked on over the next week. There's a chance he could see some time with Allan suspended a couple more matches, but even if he does, that doesn't mean much for his fantasy prospects.

ROTOWIRE
Hoping to train over break
Delph (thigh) is hopeful to train over the upcoming international break, according to manager Frank Lampard.
Impact
Delph has been out since December with this injury and while he could be ready following the break, it's hard to see him breaking into the squad. He's made six appearances this season, three of them being starts after compiling eight appearances last campaign.

ROTOWIRE
Out with thigh injury
Delph will miss at least four weeks after suffering a thigh injury in a recent training session.
Impact
Delph doesn't have much of a role on the team and his constant injuries aren't helping. He was recently returning from a bout with COVID-19 and while he has three starts this season, that was out of necessity while Abdoulaye Doucoure or Allan were out.

ROTOWIRE
Still sidelined Saturday
Delph (illness) will not be available versus Aston Villa on Saturday.
Impact
Delph will be sidelined for his fourth straight contest due to his illness. Even if the midfielder is fully fit, he is far from a lock for the starting XI and has been limited to just six appearances (three starts) this year.

ROTOWIRE
Training in limited sessions
Delph (illness) returned to training this week after missing the last couple league matches.
Impact
There hasn't been much made of Delph's illness, as he doesn't have a massive role in the side. He has a few recent starts because of other injuries, but when Allan and Abdoulaye Doucoure are healthy, among others, Delphi often doesn't even have a spot on the bench.

ROTOWIRE
In match-day squad
Delph (shoulder) will be available off the bench versus Wolverhampton on Monday.
Impact
Delph has been out of the squad for the club's last seven contests due to his shoulder problem. Even with his injury issues behind him, the midfielder shouldn't be expected to break into the starting XI with any consistency, making him a relative non-factor in fantasy contests.

ROTOWIRE
Continues training with squad
Delph (shoulder) has trained all week in lead up to Monday's clash with Wolverhampton.
Impact
Manager Rafa Benitez didn't offer any commentary on whether Delph would be ready to play Monday but with Abdoulaye Doucoure (foot) sidelined, additional midfield options would no doubt be welcomed by the manager. Still, even if Delph is fit enough to make the match-day squad, he will likely be hard-pressed to break into the starting XI over the likes of Allan or a healthy Andre Gomes (calf).

ROTOWIRE
Edging closer to return
Delph (shoulder) returned to training this week but is not expected to feature against Watford on Saturday.
Impact
Delph doesn't have a role on the team, so his injury gets thrown in at the end of the injury report. He'll get another week of training and then should be an option for the team's trip to Wolves next week.

ROTOWIRE
Out with new injury
Delph will miss Saturday's trip to Brighton because of a shoulder injury, according to manager Rafa Benitez.
Impact
The list of updates on Delph are all about injuries moving him in and out of the squad. He played seven minutes off the bench last weekend and is coming off a season in which he played just 261 minutes in league play.

ROTOWIRE
Back in squad
Delph is on the bench for Saturday's friendly against Manchester United.
Impact
Delph is back in the team after missing the pre-season trip to the USA following a close contact with a positive COVID-19 case. He still doesn't have much of a role in the team, but he'll be used off the bench at times and will help if injuries accrue.

ROTOWIRE
Will miss pre-season trip
Delph has to self-isolate for 10 days after coming into close contact with a positive COVID-19 case.
Impact
Delph will miss the team's trip to Orlando for the preseason, something that would've helped him earn a role under the new manager. He started just two matches last season, mostly because of injury, but he doesn't have much of a role in the side either way.

ROTOWIRE
Plays minimal role
Delph battled an injury the majority of the season and didn't appear in the final four matches.
Impact
Already in a limited role, an injury for most of the season didn't help Delph find playing time under Carlo Ancelotti. His numbers were cut in half from a season ago, totaling eight appearances and two starts. Since playing for England in the 2018 World Cup, his career has been hampered by constant injuries.
