Out of contract Bush is out of contract for Columbus, but is currently under contract negotiations with the club.

Impact Bush spent most of the season injured with an arm injury, making just two appearances this campaign. He had not played a full campaign since 2019 during his time with Montreal, having been a backup the last five campaigns. Even if the keeper gets resigned, he will remain a third string option for Columbus, with both Patrick Schulte and Nicholas Hagen returning for 2025.

Suffers injury Bush suffered an injury and subbed out in the 35th minute of Saturday's 0-0 draw against Real Salt Lake, reports Antonio Fonseca of Deportes PL.

Impact With Patrick Schulte ruled out, Bush saw another start in goal, but only lasted 35 minutes before leaving the match with an injury. He was replaced by Nicholas Hagen, who made his first MLS debut. If Schulte cannot return for Saturday, then Hagen is set for the starting role for the clash with the Timbers.

Concedes twice Bush conceded twice and made three saves in Saturday's 2-0 loss to Charlotte FC.

Impact Bush was making his first MLS appearance since 2021 and was the only goalkeeper in the match day squad with Patrick Schulte away with the under-23 national team. Columbus' no.1 is expected back for Saturday's match against Nashville, meaning Bush is likely to return to the bench.

Re-signs with Columbus Bush has signed a one-year contract with the Crew with the option to extend for an additional year, the club announced Monday.

Impact Bush has re-signed with Columbus as the backup goalkeeper to Eloy Room through 2022 at least. The 35-year-old kept one clean sheet in four MLS games last season.

Impact Bush had some great saves, but he ultimately had an off night. In what marked his fourth appearance and start of the season, Bush has now conceded six goals in that span and he has only made seven saves. The keeper certainly does not get any help from his backline either and it showed here. Until he can gain consistent form, he is a hard pass in most formats.
