Bush re-signed with the Crew on a one-year deal for the 2026 MLS season, the club announced Thursday.

Concedes twice in loss
Bush recorded six saves and allowed two goals in Saturday's 2-0 loss against Chicago Fire.
Impact
Bush made his first start since July 6 on Saturday and was under pressure from start to finish. He faced eight shots on target, saving six but conceding twice in the loss. If he starts again Saturday it will be another difficult matchup at Orlando, a side which has scored 58 goals through 30 matches this season.

One save in draw
Bush had one save and allowed one goal in Sunday's 1-1 draw versus Seattle Sounders FC.
Impact
Bush turned aside one of two shots on target Sunday as Columbia's played to a 1-1 draw at Seattle. Over four starting appearances during which his fellow Columbus goalkeepers Patrick Schulte (oblique) and Nicholas Hagen (undisclosed) have been unavailable due to injury, the veteran keeper has made four saves and three clearances while conceding just three goals and recording one clean sheet. If Bush remains the lone healthy goalkeeper on the Columbus roster, his next opportunity will come Saturday when Columbus travel to take-on rivals Cincinnati.

Keeps easy clean sheet Sunday
Bush had no saves and secured a clean sheet in Sunday's 1-0 victory against Philadelphia Union.
Impact
Bush did not face a single shot on target Sunday, the second time in his four starts this season where his defense completely shut out the opponent. It was Bush's third consecutive start with Patrick Schulte (oblique) and Nicholas Hagen (undisclosed) out. If both remain out Sunday at Seattle, Bush will face a slightly more favorable matchup versus a side that has scored 27 goals through 19 matches this season.

Concedes once in Wednesday's win
Bush made one save and allowed one goal in Wednesday's 3-1 victory against Atlanta United.
Impact
Bush made his second straight start Wednesday with Patrick Schulte (oblique) and Nicolas Hagen (national team) both out and conceded one goal in a win once again. He had an easy day as he faced just two shots on target versus a struggling Atlanta side. Schulte has a chance to return for Sunday's important match versus Philadelphia, but if he is forced to miss Bush will likely make another start.

Concedes once in win
Bush registered two saves and allowed one goal in Saturday's 2-1 victory over Vancouver Whitecaps FC.
Impact
Bush made just his second start of the season Saturday with both Patrick Schulte (oblique) and Nicolas Hagen (international duty) out. Bush conceded an early goal to Daniel Rios, but kept Vancouver out of the net for the remainder of the match. With the next match coming on Wednesday versus Atlanta, there's a good chance Bush will start again.

ROTOWIRE
Easy day in first start
Bush made no saves and allowed zero goals in Saturday's 0-0 draw against New York City FC.
Impact
Bush made his first start of the season Saturday with Patrick Schulte away with the United States national team. Bush's defense made his day very easy as the unit did not allow a single shot on target through the 90 minutes. Schulte should be back in time for Saturday's trip to D.C. United, so Bush will likely return back to the bench.

Returning to Columbus
Bush is returning to Columbus, on a contract for 2025, the club announced.
Impact
Bush was out of contract with the club but remained in negotiations. Those negotiations were evidently fruitful as he now returns to the club on a new one-year deal. The goalkeeper will now be a depth option once more in 2025, likely seeing limited minutes.

ROTOWIRE
Out of contract
Bush is out of contract for Columbus, but is currently under contract negotiations with the club.
Impact
Bush spent most of the season injured with an arm injury, making just two appearances this campaign. He had not played a full campaign since 2019 during his time with Montreal, having been a backup the last five campaigns. Even if the keeper gets resigned, he will remain a third string option for Columbus, with both Patrick Schulte and Nicholas Hagen returning for 2025.

Suffers injury
Bush suffered an injury and subbed out in the 35th minute of Saturday's 0-0 draw against Real Salt Lake, reports Antonio Fonseca of Deportes PL.
Impact
With Patrick Schulte ruled out, Bush saw another start in goal, but only lasted 35 minutes before leaving the match with an injury. He was replaced by Nicholas Hagen, who made his first MLS debut. If Schulte cannot return for Saturday, then Hagen is set for the starting role for the clash with the Timbers.

Concedes twice
Bush conceded twice and made three saves in Saturday's 2-0 loss to Charlotte FC.
Impact
Bush was making his first MLS appearance since 2021 and was the only goalkeeper in the match day squad with Patrick Schulte away with the under-23 national team. Columbus' no.1 is expected back for Saturday's match against Nashville, meaning Bush is likely to return to the bench.

Concedes half of attempts on net
Bush made three saves and conceded three goals during the 3-0 loss to Philadelphia on Sunday.
Impact
Bush had some great saves, but he ultimately had an off night. In what marked his fourth appearance and start of the season, Bush has now conceded six goals in that span and he has only made seven saves. The keeper certainly does not get any help from his backline either and it showed here. Until he can gain consistent form, he is a hard pass in most formats.

Starts and makes three saves
