Martin Zubimendi - Extends contract through 2027 Zubimendi signed a contract extension through 2027, it was announced Friday.

Impact Zubimendi getting a new deal is as much about his own good form (one goal, two assists in nine starts) as about tying him down amidst rumors of him eventually replacing Sergio Busquets for Barcelona. As he's still a defensively-minded player, Zubimendi's value isn't tremendously high aside from select circumstances.

Andoni Gorosabel - Doesn't appear in win Gorosabel (ankle) wasn't used off the bench during Thursday's 3-0 win over Sheriff.

Impact Gorosabel didn't come off the bench, though he did travel with the team, and was available. The defender misses two matches with an ankle issue but his return to the bench is a positive sign that he should be fully available for a Sunday trip to Celta Vigo.
