Impact Fernandinho closed the season as a bench option in four of the final five league matches. He received 26 starts this season because of injuries to the center-backs, but with Ayermic Laporte, Eric Garcia and John Stones all healthy, his playing time dwindled and he doesn't have a guaranteed spot in the squad next season.

Impact Garcia continues to be a solid option after the break as he held his fourth clean sheet in five starts since the restart. The center-back isn't much of an offensive feature but has been productive in some defensive categories with 10 interceptions and 16 clearances in his five starts in June and July. He'll be a serious candidate for another shutout versus Norwich in the season finale if he gets the start again.
