Goal and assist in playoff win Forsberg scored one goal and assisted once from one shot and two chances created in Sunday's 2-2 (7-6) penalty shootout victory versus Columbus Crew.
Impact Forsberg was excellent in Sunday's playoff victory. He assisted Dante Vanzier's equalizer in the 64th minute with an excellent pass, then converted a penalty in the 80th minute to take the 2-1 lead. In the penalty shootout, he converted Red Bulls' fifth penalty attempt to send the shootout into sudden death, which his side ended up winning. Forsberg has now led his side to the Eastern Conference Semifinals in his first season in the MLS and now he will take on the winner of Cincinnati FC and New York City FC in a best-of-three series.
