MATCHDAY: Newcastle, Leeds aim for 1st win; Hertha seeks 2nd
Newcastle and Leeds are languishing near the foot of the Premier League as they meet at St. James’ Park with both seeking a first win of the campaign

Out against Newcastle
Llorente (hamstring) will miss Friday's trip to Newcastle, according to manager Marcelo Bielsa.
Impact
Bielsa didn't give a ton of information on Llorente, which isn't a great sign and it wouldn't be surprising if he was held out until the international break if it's a hamstring injury. Leeds enter Friday's match with an issue at center-back, as Liam Cooper is the only available option at the moment.

Comes off injured against Liverpool
Llorente was subbed out of Sunday's match against Liverpool in the 33rd minute after suffering an injury.
Impact
Llorente was making just his third appearance of the season in all competitions on Sunday after recovering from a hamstring injury he suffered in early August. The fear is that he re-aggravated his hamstring, although it is unclear whether he will be forced to miss additional game time due to this injury. Leeds play next on Friday.

Ready for full 90
Llorente started the midweek match and is ready for a full 90 in league play, according to manager Marcelo Bielsa.
Impact
It looks like Llorente will be an option to start again after dealing with another muscle injury. He's most likely to take the spot of Pascal Struijk in the starting XI, but that may not happen immediately given his constant injuries in the past year.

Starting Cup match
Llorente (hamstring) is in the starting XI for Tuesday's Cup match against Crewe Alexandra.
Impact
Llorente is a nice boost to the squad Tuesday after missing the first two matches of the season because of injury. He constantly battled injuries last season, but once fully healthy, he could move into the starting XI, especially given how Leeds have looked in the back the first two matches.

Expected out first two matches
Llorente (hamstring) will miss one or two more weeks, subject to evolution, according to manager Marcelo Bielsa.
Impact
Llorente will miss Saturday's opener and probably at least one more match unless he can recover quickly. Since it's a hamstring injury, he probably won't be asked to start before the international break. The hope is that this doesn't turn into another injury-ravaged season similar to the last one.

Could miss start of season
Llorente is expected to miss the start of the season because of an injured suffered in last week's friendly against Betis, reports Leeds Live.
Impact
Llorente battled numerous muscle injuries last season that resulted in just 15 league appearances for Leeds. Unfortunately, it looks like he'll start the new campaign injured, which means they'll already have to turn to a backup for the opener, possibly meaning a start for Robin Koch on Saturday against Man United.

Back with team
Llorente returned to team training Friday after returning four-straight negative COVID-19 tests.
Impact
Llorente is ready to play again after what looks like a false positive earlier in the week. While he's not expected to start for Spain, it's at least a good sign for the national team that the COVID-19 issues aren't growing within the side.

Returns two negative tests
Llorente returned two negative tests for COVID-19 following his positive diagnosis and he could return to training Friday.
Impact
This is a good sign for Spain, as there may not be a COVID-19 outbreak within the team as originally thought. Llorente isn't a guaranteed starter on Spain's back line, but he gives them an option and should be ready for Monday's opener if all goes well.

Tests positive for COVID-19
Llorente has tested positive for COVID-19 and will miss at least one match in the upcoming Euros.
Impact
Llorente became the Spaniards' second player (after Sergio Busquets) to test positive for COVID-19 following their friendly match against Portugal on Saturday. Spain could start Cesar Azpilicueta or Eric Garcia during his absence. However, neither of them are stable options considering the team's recent coronavirus outbreak.

Training with Spain
Llorente (muscular) was pictured training with the national team without any limitations.
Impact
Llorente didn't play in the Leeds finale because of a muscular issue, but it looks like he's over it and ready to compete in the Euros. He battled constant muscle injuries this season, so he probably won't be pushed too hard by Spain, but he started every match but the finale for Leeds since late February, so he should at least be at match fitness for the tournament.

Looking forward to Euros
Llorente finished the Premier League season with a muscular injury but still made Spain's roster for the Euros.
Impact
Llorente made just 15 appearances (14 starts) due to a nagging groin injury during the first half of the season, but still found a spot with his national team after a decent run of form in 2021. It's unlikely that he'll make many starts for his country this summer due to better options ahead of him, but his production for Leeds should remain viable for fantasy with 2.54 tackles made per 90 this season.
