Impact Upamecano plugged straight back into the starting lineup after missing last weekend's Bundesliga win over Freiburg with a yellow card suspension, but he may wish he had stayed on the bench after his performance against City. His distribution was very sloppy throughout the second half and at one point Jack Grealish robbed him in position, directly leading to Bernardo Silva's goal to put the opposition up 2-0. Still, Upamecano is capable of bouncing back from a display like this and could maintain his starting role for Saturday's domestic clash with Hoffenheim and then the return fixture of this quarterfinal tie next week.
