Impact The midfielder took two shots (none on target) and had three crosses, managing to find a teammate for Chicago's only goal. Gutman will need more volume to have fantasy value against San Diego FC, which is the top team in the West but has conceded 29 goals in 21 matches.

Philip Zinckernagel - All-around star Zinckernagel scored a goal in Chicago Fire's 2-1 loss to FC Cincinnati on Saturday.
Impact The forward also had 10 crosses and 10 corner kicks, creating three chances for his side. He did not get much support from his teammates but the volume is encouraging ahead of a clash against San Diego FC Saturday. San Diego is at the top of the West but has allowed 29 goals in 21 MLS matches so there's some chances to be had.

Impact Reynolds isn't an option for Saturday's clash due to a head injury. The defender hasn't appeared since April, and even when fit he often goes unused on the bench. His next chance to return to the first team is a Saturday clash with San Diego.

Impact Acosta isn't an option for Saturday's trip to Cincinnati, though that isn't likely to be a big blow to the starting XI. Even when fit Acosta hasn't played a large role, coming off the bench in each of the last three matches. Acosta's next chance to return is a July 12 clash with San Diego.

Impact Teran still isn't in training during Tuesday's session. The defender remains on the sideline with an upper leg injury. Teran's next chance to return will be a Saturday clash with Cincinnati, but that would require a return to training in some capacity later in the week.

Jeff Gal - Allows two in win Gal made zero saves and conceded two goals during Saturday's 3-2 win over Charlotte.
Impact Gal didn't see much action during the first half but suddendly things changed for him as he saw the opposition scoring twice in a three-minute span just before the hour mark to get back in contention. The goalkeeper wasn't at fault for either goal but the fact that he didn't make a single save definitely hurt his fantasy output. With Chris Brady (not injury related) still with USMNT at Gold Cup, Gal will still have a couple chances to bounce back during upcoming games.

Hugo Cuypers - Scores in win over Charlotte Cuypers scored a goal off three shots (one on target) and created one chance during Saturday's 3-2 win over Charlotte.
Impact Cuypers was having a quiet outing until the 33rd minute, when he appeared at the right place to benefit from a huge defensive giveaway and make it 3-0 for Chicago. With 11 goals over 18 starts this season, the striker has already scored more than he did last year and expectation is that he can even double that mark by the end of the campaign.

Brian Gutierrez - Scores in win Gutierrez scored a goal off three shots (one on target), created four chances and drew three fouls during Saturday's 3-2 win over Charlotte.
Impact Gutierrez had another active display on the attacking end, scoring his team's second goal in the 25th minute and creating a lot for teammates as well. With four of his seven goals in 2025 scored over his last six appearances, the youngster is definitely enjoying a breakthrough campaign and showing Chicago fans what they can expect for the future.

Impact Dean returned to the starting XI and did so in style, being credited with an assist for his team's first goal and putting up some nice defensive numbers. Despite some ups and downs on his form, the right-back is still finding his way to be a factor for fantasy purposes, with three assists over his last six appearances.

Impact Zinckernagel had a man-of-the-match performance here, opening the scoring for Chicago with a brilliant solo effort in the 23rd minute and then assisting Brian Gutierrez for the second two minutes later. After starting the campaign slowly, the attacker has been unstoppable as of late, with five goals and four assists over the last six starts.

Impact Teran hasn't featured for the Fire since late April, and the defender was once again absent from training, marking a negative trend for the Colombian. If he doesn't play Saturday, his next chance to suit up will come against Cincinnati on July 5.

Impact Gonzalaez made nine clearances as his side were defeated at home by Philadelphia Union. His three starts have all come in the last three games, and in those games, he has made a total of 26 clearances. He did, however, get booked in this game after conceding three fouls.

Impact Zinckernagel took four shots and created three chances. This made it three games in a row where he has had two or more chances created. He has also had a shot on target in each of the last eight games, and this is the only game in his last five starts in which he hasn't scored. This season he has scored seven goals and created five assists in 16 games with eight of these goal involvements coming in the most recent eight matches.
