Nikola Petkovic - Suffers knee injury Petkovic suffered a knee injury and is expected to be sidelined for a few weeks, manager Dean Smith told Carroll R. Walton of The Charlotte Ledger on Friday.
Impact Given the timeline provided by Smith, it wouldn't be surprising if Petkovic is sidelined until after the international break in October. The midfielder has started in just five of his 14 appearances this season, however, so he's not expected to alter many fantasy decisions with his absence.

Kerwin Vargas - Ineffective in loss Vargas registered one shot (one on goal) and one cross (zero accurate) in Wednesday's 2-0 loss to Orlando City SC.
Impact Vargas lacked effectiveness Wednesday, he led Charlotte's attack down the left wing but only managed to place one shot on target. He also contributed an interception and a tackle. After 73 minutes he was subbed. The regular starting Colombian has chalked up five goals and two assists but is in an unproductive spell, it has been nine matches since he was last on the scoresheet.

Patrick Agyemang - Only one shot on target in loss Agyemang registered one shot (one on goal) in Wednesday's 2-0 defeat versus Orlando City SC.
Impact Agyemang was not at his best Wednesday. Charlotte's lead striker only managed to place one shot on target and unsurprisingly he was subbed after 72 minutes. After a strong spell of form in the early summer where he netted four from four games the 23-year-old has hit a dry spell. It has now been seven matches since he last found the net.

Tim Ream - Sharp performance in loss Ream generated one shot (not on goal) in Wednesday's 2-0 loss versus Orlando City SC.
Impact Ream was one of the brighter performers in a poor Charlotte team Wednesday. As the bedrock of their defense he executed five clearances, two blocks and two interceptions. On attack he played seven long balls and managed a shot that went off target. Since joining the club from Fulham last month the veteran defender has made a difference to the team and hopefully will be the catalyst they need to improve. He managed to get on the scoresheet in their last against Montreal.

Kristijan Kahlina - Concedes two in defeat Kahlina made two saves and allowed two goals in Wednesday's 2-0 loss versus Orlando City SC.
Impact Kahlina stopped just two of the four shots he faced on target Wednesday. He was not helped by an overall poor Charlotte defense in front of him. The Croatian has posted nine clean sheets but it has been 10 MLS matches since his last. He has a chance to improve that in Charlotte's next against struggling New England. The Revolution currently have one of the lowest goal tallies in the league.

Patrick Agyemang - Starting Wednesday Agyemang (toe) is in the starting lineup for Wednesday's visit to Orlando City.
Impact Agyemang is ready to make his first MLS start since July 17 after overcoming a slight problem. While he may share playing time with Karol Swiderski, the fit-again forward will look to increase his current season count of seven goals and two assists in 25 appearances.

Impact Agyemang had to sit out against Montreal on Saturday with a minor toe injury. He is now back in training and could be an option Wednesday, if he passes fitness. Since the Leagues Cup break, the forward has yet to start for Charlotte with two appearances off the bench since Karol Swiderski's return to the team.

Impact Ream was the leader at the back for Charlotte, but he also made his presence felt on the final third by scoring a header from very close range on a delivery from Ashley Westwood. Ream can be a menace on set-piece situations, but there's no question he'll earn most of his value on defensive stats.
