Alexander Sorloth - Scores goal against Glimt Sorloth scored one goal to go with eight shots (five on goal) in Wednesday's 2-1 defeat to Glimt.
Impact Sorloth headed a cross into the back of the net in the 15th minute and could have added to his scoring count as he had four attempts stopped by goalkeeper Nikita Haikin during the game. The forward has now made the score sheet in four of his last five starts, counting both league and UCL action. Over that period, he's averaging 3.8 shots (2.4 on target) per contest. He'll likely stay put as Julian Alvarez's partner in a front two unless there's rotation in the next few weeks.

Julian Alvarez - Productive from set pieces in loss Alvarez registered four shots (zero on goal), 13 crosses (four accurate) and 12 corners in Wednesday's 2-1 loss versus Glimt.
Impact Alvarez failed to score due to his poor aim in front of goal, but he led his team with 13 crosses and six chances created Wednesday. The striker featured alongside Alexander Sorloth in a two-man offense as has become the regular case in recent games. Despite going without a goal or assist in five consecutive contests across all competitions, Alvarez has continued to see significant minutes of play and set pieces, granting him decent playmaking upside along with his shooting numbers.

Pablo Barrios - All-around effort in defeat Barrios had two shots (one on goal) and one chance created in Wednesday's 2-1 loss to Glimt.
Impact Barrios was busy in midfield as his team had the majority of possession and chances despite the result against the Norwegian side. In addition to taking a shot to the post, he completed 94 percent of his passes and won 10 of his 13 ground duels during the match. He's expected to retain a starting spot and could be highly reliable for passes and tackles given his current role.

David Hancko - Assists in Champions League loss Hancko assisted once to go with one shot (zero on goal), three crosses (one accurate) and one chance created in Wednesday's 2-1 loss versus Glimt.
Impact Hancko took advantage of an opportunity to move forward and delivered a great cross for Alexander Sorloth to score the opening goal in the 15th minute of Wednesday's clash. The defender also recorded six duels won and three clearances to make up for the lack of clean sheet in the final UCL league phase game. He has operated as a left-back in each of the last two contests across all competitions, but he could well return to a central spot in future weeks.

Jan Oblak - Beaten twice versus Glimt Oblak had three saves and allowed two goals in Wednesday's 2-1 loss versus Glimt.
Impact Oblak had a disappointing performance as his team allowed the visitors several chances, including two shots from inside the box that went into his net. The keeper finished the initial stage of the Champions League season with 16 saves, 14 goals conceded and no clean sheets across seven starts. He has been more successful in league play, where Atletico have kept three of their last four opponents scoreless. However, they haven't been as consistent as in other campaigns and could face some shots in Saturday's visit to Levante.
