Ends campaign injured Smith will end the 2024 season on the injured list with a thigh injury.

Impact Smith was not able to get a chance to return to the pitch with Houston's elimination from the playoffs. He continues to be just a depth option for a second campaign in a row, starting just once in 20 MLS games, collecting two goals and assists with 27 crosses (five won). His future is set to be decided in the offseason as the midfielder does have options for two more years in his contract.
