Impact Hlongwane entered the match in the 37th minute and set up Emanuel Reynoso for Minnesota's third goal in the 43rd. The assist was the third of the season for the forward while he led the team in both chances created and interceptions in the win.

Joins Minnesota Hlongwane has signed a three-year contract with Minnesota United with the option to extend for an additional year, the club announced Wednesday.
Impact Hlongwane joins Minnesota from Maritzburg United in South Africa, where he had two goals and an assist in 15 appearances this season. The 21-year-old is the Loons' first U22 initiative signing, but he will likely be used more as a backup option along the forward line as he develops.
