Impact Trusty has reportedly already played his last game for Colorado, and he's scheduled to link up with Arsenal on July 17. It is unclear at the moment whether Arsenal will keep him for the upcoming season or try to loan him out somewhere, but the Rapids seem likely to revert to a back-four instead of having Gustavo Vallecilla join Lalas Abubakar and Danny Wilson in a back-three.

To join Arsenal in summer Trusty signed a deal Monday to join English club Arsenal from Colorado in the Summer. He'll stay on loan with the Rapids until July 17.
Impact This seems like an interesting move for Trusty, who started 34 times for the Rapids in 2021 and helped the defense concede the fourth-fewest goals of any club. Given the lack of defensive depth at Arsenal, one can wonder why he doesn't join the club already, but there's no guarantee that they completely trust in Trusty's ability to play at the Premier League level just yet. In the interim, we'll see Trusty play for the first few months of the MLS season ahead of a major move in his career.
