Features prominently as youngster Gray kept two clean sheets across 28 appearances (19 starts) in the Premier League. Impact Gray entered the 2024/25 campaign at just 18 years old and figured to feature mostly as a reserve in the Premier League, while getting his minutes in early rounds of domestic cups and the Europa League group stage. That plan came to fruition through the first few months of the season until Cristian Romero, Micky van de Ven, Destiny Udogie and Ben Davies all picked up significant injuries around the same time. That injury crisis not only forced Gray into the starting XI, but also forced him to play out of position at center back. He ended up starting 19 Premier League matches, with 10 at center back, four in central midfield, three in defensive midfield, three at right back and one at left back. He did not exactly dominate in any of his positions, but it's hard to blame the youngster after being thrust into a very difficult spot. Although it was a somewhat rough season for him, all that unexpected experience should help him down the line. Assuming Spurs don't face another historic injury crisis, he figures to feature more as a reserve next season.
