Impact Semenyo was his usual physical self Saturday. He always seemed to have the better of Arsenal's defense when attacking and managed six shots, one on target and two blocked. The Ghanaian international is currently the Cherries top scorer with three strikes, he has also delivered an assist. With his natural athleticism, and fearless nature to strike at goal, he will inevitably be a regular scorer for the Cherries.

Third strike of season in win Semenyo scored one goal to go with four shots (one on goal) and created two chances in Monday's 3-1 victory against Southampton.
Impact Semenyo continued his impressive run of form Monday. The attacking midfielder was too much for the Saints defense to handle as he ran at will down the attacking right flank. He created impressive plays for his team mates, and following three blocked efforts he found the net through a fantastic individual performance, slotting the ball into the corner of the net from the edge of the box. He was subbed after 89 minutes. The Ghanaian has now yielded three goals and an assist from the season's opening six matches.

Disallowed goal in loss to Reds Semenyo generated four shots (two on goal) and one cross (zero accurate) in Saturday's 3-0 loss against Liverpool.
Impact Semenyo thought he had broken the deadlock just five minutes into the contest, but the goal was ruled out due to an apparent offside play. Regardless of that, the forward was the Cherries' most dangerous player by a wide margin, and he'll aim to remain a massive threat upfront when Bournemouth take on Southampton on Sep. 30.

Threatening, but no on target attempts Semenyo recorded three shots (none on goal) in Saturday's 1-0 loss to Chelsea. In addition, he was given a yellow card in the 96th minute.
Impact Semenyo led the Bournemouth attack down their right flank Saturday. He was one of the Cherries more active players in midfield duels, but despite having a goalbound attempt blocked he did not manage to place any shots on target. Produces assist in draw Semenyo assisted once to go with seven shots (none on goal) and created three chances in Sunday's 1-1 draw versus Newcastle United.
Impact Semenyo was lively and dangerous Sunday. His pace, energy and instinct to shoot at every opportunity was a handful for the Magpies defense. He rattled the crossbar was an impressive attempt from outside the box and from seven shots in total, four others were blocked. His work was rewarded through producing the assist for the Cherries goal scored by Marcus Tavernier. The 24-year-old is one of the Cherries key attacking assets, he matured through last season and is set to be one of their top contributors in 2023-24. This assist adds to the goal he scored in Bournemouth's last match.

Bags goal in draw with Forest Semenyo scored one goal to go with five shots (two on goal) and three crosses (none accurate) in Saturday's 1-1 draw versus Nottingham Forest.
Impact With Dominic Solanke's transfer to Spurs, Semenyo was given responsibility as lone striker Saturday. He exhibited his usual energetic, physical presence in attack shooting at any opportunity. An attempt beat keeper, Matz Sels, but glanced by the post and he was ultimately rewarded with a goal, the Cherries equalizer, following a goalmouth scramble. Recent signing from Porto, Evanilson, will likely assume striking responsibilities for the Cherries next against Newcastle moving the Ghanaian international back into his more usual attacking midfield role.

Impact Semenyo was his usual high energy self Sunday. He contributed one of the five shots the Cherries placed on goal but he was always a menace for the Blues defense. The Ghanaian international is developing in the premier league, he posted eight goals and two assists over the season. With coaching and mentoring he has the ability to be a top striker if he can be more composed with his finishing.

Three shots in loss to Bees Semenyo registered three shots (one on goal), one cross (not accurate) and created a chance in Saturday's 2-1 defeat to Brentford.
Impact Semenyo drove the Cherries attack down their right flank Saturday. He played with his usual physical style, not being afraid to have a crack at goal. He had a long range effort sail just over the bar and his on goal effort was parrayed away by an alert Mark Flekken. He almost accrued an assist when he fed Dominic Solanke the ball, which he put in the back of the net, but was disallowed due to a handball in the move build up. It has been four games since the attacking midfielder last found the net.

Starting versus Arsenal Semenyo (knee) is in the initial XI to face Arsenal on Saturday.
Impact Semenyo had a scare last week, but the injury turned out to be less serious than expected, and he'll be able to keep starting as usual. He has scored and assisted once in his last five seasons, adding 10 shots (five on target), six key passes and 13 crosses (two accurate).

Impact Semenyo going from being a doubt for the remainder of the season to feeling better overnight is a shock, but a very positive one. The winger is on 10 goal contributions in the Premier League, a new best across his time in the top flight, and he will have three more chances to build on it.

Set for MRI Semenyo (knee) is set to receive an MRI on his knee, according to manager Andoni Irola, per Jack Tanner of the Bournemouth Echo. "Until we do the MRI we don't know if it's bad, ver...
Impact Semenyo looks like his season could be coming to an end after he was stretchered off the field Sunday, as he is now set for an MRI. This comes at a tough time, with the attacker only returning three matches ago from a calf issue, and with only three contests left in the season, the club will most likely leave him on the sidelines to rest for the remainder of the season and start working at next campaign after picking up his issues. If this is the case, expect Enes Unal to take his spot, as Semenyo is a regular starter, although we do have to wait on his MRI results before confirming this.

Leaves on stretcher Sunday Semenyo departed Sunday's 3-0 win over Brighton on a stretcher with a knee injury, Tom Crocker of The Bournemouth Echo reports.
Impact The severity of the injury is unclear, but Semenyo departed the contest on a stretch, and the fact that Brighton's defender Joel Weltman immediately signaled assistance to the Bournemouth bench is never a good sign. With only a handful of games left in the schedule, it wouldn't be surprising if Semenyo misses the rest of the season.

Goal in win over Wolves Semenyo scored one goal to go with three shots (two on goal) and one cross (not accurate) in Wednesday's 1-0 victory over Wolverhampton.
Impact Semenyo scored the only goal of the game Wednesday to secure all three points for the Cherries. His physical presence and pace was always too much for a weak Wolves defense to handle, and he was unlucky not to bag a second with his other on goal effort. It had been five appearances since he last found the net and three since his last assist, but the exciting 24-year-old is one to watch and always one of the Cherries main attacking threats.

Good showing after injury return Semenyo registered two shots (one on goal) and one cross (not accurate) in Sunday's 3-1 loss to Aston Villa.
Impact Semenyo came on after 63 minutes for Marcos Senesi. The attacking midfielder returned after a two week absence due to an injury, but his pace and energy was as high as ever. He did not manage to score or assist but he was one of Bournemouth's more dangerous players in the latter part of the game. He has scored two and created an assist from his previous four appearances.

Impact Semenyo will return to the squad for Sunday's clash, after missing the match against Manchester United. The attacker is the preferred option on the right wing and should be straight back into the starting XI for Sunday's clash. Before the injury Semenyo had played the full 90 more often than not, but he might not be ready for that role straight away.

Out Saturday Semenyo is out for Saturday's clash with Manchester United, according to manager Andoni Iraola."The problem with Ant in the past week is that he has a cold and not 100 per cent."
Impact Semenyo has been struggling with a cold that has prevented him from rehabbing a minor calf injury. It's a disappointing turn but it shouldn't be an overly serious issue and it shouldn't keep him sidelined for an extended period. Semenyo's first chance to return will be an April 21 trip to Aston Villa.
