Signs with Dortmund Modeste has signed a one-year contract with Borussia Dortmund after transferring from FC Koln, the club announced Monday.

Impact Modeste had a bounce back season with Koln last year, scoring 20 goals in 32 Bundesliga appearances (31 starts). The 34-year-old striker is now moving to Dortmund for this season basically as a replacement for Sebastien Haller, who is out indefinitely with a tumor in his testicle. Meanwhile Mark Uth (undisclosed) and Sebastian Andersson (undisclosed) will likely be the main starters up front back at Koln.
