Extends contract with Atletico Correa has signed a four-and-a-half-year contract extension with Atletico Madrid, the club announced Tuesday.

Impact Correa has been a slightly under-the-radar mainstay with Atletico since he joined the club in 2015, and the 26-year-old has now signed on through the 2025/26 season. He is on pace for his most prolific season yet in La Liga, with six goals and four assists in 19 matches (13 starts) in the competition so far.

Impact Correa was excellent on Sunday in what was his third start in Atletico's last four games. Impact Correa was brought alongside Matheus Cunha as part of a double substitution in the 73rd minute and the duo needed only three minutes to make an impact, with Cunha assisting Correa for Atletico's third goal of the match. This was the first goal since Aug. 22 for Correa and he'll hope it helps him to get more playing time during Saturday's home clash against Mallorca.
