10 saves including penalty save Tarbell registered 10 saves (including a penalty save) and allowed one goal in Wednesday's 3-1 win over Colorado Rapids.

Impact Tarbell started his second match of the season Wednesday and put together an excellent performance. He saved Rafael Navarro's penalty in the 49th minute, but since he did not control the ball, Djordje Mihailovic followed the shot up and scored the Rapids' lone goal. Tarbell finished the match with 10 saves, double Steve Clark's season high prior to his injury. He faces a difficult matchup Saturday at Portland, a side which has scored 30 goals in 16 league matches this season.

Joins Houston Tarbell has signed a two-year contract with the Dynamo after leaving Austin FC as a free agent, the club announced Wednesday.

Impact Tarbell made five MLS appearances across his two-season stint in Austin, allowing 10 goals and keeping zero clean sheets. The 29-year-old will now try to take over from Michael Nelson as Houston's backup goalkeeper, but it seems unlikely that he could seriously challenge Steve Clark as the starter.
