Out with foot injury
Perez is expected to miss around six weeks after re-fracturing his foot, according to Steven Goff of the Washington Post.
Impact
Perez missed three months with a foot injury from July to October last season, and it seems he has re-injured the same foot. He has already missed D.C. United's last two games, and he's set to be out until around mid-May.

Starting Saturday
Perez (foot) is in the starting XI for Saturday's clash with Nashville.
Impact
Perez is making his return from foot surgery back in July, and is straight into the starting XI. The forward will hope to link up well with Ola Kamara in attack coming off the international break.

Undergoes foot surgery
Perez underwent foot surgery from an injury suffered last weekend and will miss approximately three months, according to the team.
Impact
Perez could easily miss the rest of the season if his recovery doesn't go to plan, but if it does, he could be ready by October. Prior to injury, he had become a regular in the XI, starting nine of a possible 10 matches. In his place, Ola Kamara could see a boost in playing time.

ROTOWIRE
Exits in first half of loss
Perez was forced off in the 32nd minute of Saturday's loss against Philly with an undisclosed injury.
Impact
It's not a great sign for Perez, who seems unlikely to start on a short week in which he was injured. If he can't start Wednesday against Chicago, Yordy Reyna may be next in line to start in the D.C. attack which is battling numerous injuries.

Gets assist in first half
Perez provided one assist from three chances created and put two shots off target while playing in the first half of Saturday's 3-0 win over Inter Miami.
Impact
Perez didn't appear to be withdrawn due to an injury, so there shouldn't be too much worry after he put up another good performance. With two assists, nine chances created and 15 shots taken in his last four matches, Perez is playing quite well in his first MLS season as a regular starter. Up next is a home match against Inter Miami after the international break.

Takes eight shots in loss
Perez took eight shots (four on goal) and created two chances during Sunday's 1-0 loss to Philadelphia.
Impact
Perez set a new career-high for shots taken in a single match but still couldn't score for the first time this season. He's still trending in the right direction with six shots on goal over his last three starts, so keep an eye on Perez as he faces teams with goalies less talented than Philly's Andre Blake. Up next is Saturday's trip to Inter Miami, which have already conceded 10 goals in seven matches.

ROTOWIRE
Claims first career assist Thursday
Perez assisted once, took three shots (two on target), created three chances, sent two crosses (one accurate) and made two interceptions in the 1-0 win over Chicago on Thursday.
Impact
Perez had his best offensive performance so far in his short career. The forward received just his second start for his new club and he shined along with it. Perez has shown two different styles of play over his past two appearances (both starts). In the loss to Columbus he showed that he can be gritty and play a more physical style and in the win against Chicago he showed how quick he can be and his excellent vision. Now, if he can put both of those performances together game in and game out it would be crazy not to play him.
