MARTIN ZUÑIGA BIO

Martin Zuñiga serves as one of FOX Deportes’ main soccer analysts with a focus on Major League Soccer and Liga MX.  He also appears on EL ENTRETIEMPO.

Known as "El Pulpo" (the Octopus), Zuñiga began his playing career in 1993 with Tigres before moving on to Chivas in 1995.

Zuñiga won the Torneo Invierno in 1997 at Chivas, playing alongside fellow FOX Deportes analyst, Claudio Suarez.

In addition to his seven seasons with Chivas, Zuñiga also played for Atletico Celaya, Puebla, Tecos and Veracruz.

Zuñiga closed out his career after joining Chivas USA of Major League Soccer.

He also worked in television as analyst for Azteca America and Spectrum Deportes.
