Artturi Lehkonen - Back on skatesLehkonen (neck) skated at practice in a non-contact jersey Friday, according to Jesse Montano of Guerilla Sports.
ImpactLehkonen has missed the last 14 games since getting hurt Nov. 9 versus the Kraken. He has three goals and five assists in 12 games this season. There is still no timetable for his return, but this is a good first step.

Mikko Rantanen - Moves to top lineRantanen had one shot on net over 27:17 of ice time in Thursday's 4-2 loss to the Jets.
ImpactColorado head coach Jared Bednar dropped Rantanen to the second line Tuesday and that's where he began Thursday's game. The forward was moved back to the top line for the third period Thursday and had a team-high TOI. Bednar acknowledged to Evan Rawal of Colorado Hockey Now that Rantanen's been in a rut lately, and the coach is trying to work him out of it. Rantanen's gone eight consecutive games without a goal; prior to that, the 27-year-old Finn never had more than two games without a tally.

Cale Makar - Returns to actionMakar had four shots on goal and one blocked shot over 24:10 of ice time in Thursday's 4-2 loss to Winnipeg.
ImpactMakar was back in the lineup after sitting out the last two games with a lower-body injury. The defenseman told Evan Rawal of Colorado Hockey Now that the injury resulted from "wear and tear," and he felt good in his return.

ImpactKiviranta found himself on ice with Nathan MacKinnon, who bulled his way into the Winnipeg zone and fed the bottom-six forward for the Avalanche's second goal. It wasn't immediately ruled a score, but video review confirmed the puck went in. The tally was Kiviranta's second and snapped a 10-game drought.

ImpactMacKinnon accepted a pass in mid stride, skated around two Jets' defenders, then went forehand-backhand to score Colorado's first goal. He later did the heavy lifting to set up Joel Krivianta's tally, giving the star center points on the last seven Avalanche goals. The two-point effort extended MacKinnon's point streak to 10 games, during which he has four goals and 12 assists.
