Scott Perunovich - Finally gets first career goal Perunovich scored a goal in Saturday's 8-1 loss to the Capitals.
Impact It took until his 79th career game over parts of three seasons, but Perunovich is officially an NHL goal-scorer. The tally was the 26-year-old's first point in six appearances in 2024-25 as he's struggled to stay in the lineup. He's taken over a third-pairing role and a spot on the second power-play unit since Philip Broberg (lower body) sustained an injury in early November. Perunovich has added just two shots on net, seven blocked shots, four hits, four PIM and a minus-3 rating, so if he's going to be a factor in fantasy, he'll need to develop a stronger scoring touch.

Impact Mangiapane helped out on goals by Rasmus Sandin and Michael Sgarbossa as part of the Capitals' five-goal third period. With four points over five games in November, Mangiapane is starting to get into a groove. The winger has four goals, seven points, 25 shots on net, 11 hits and a plus-3 rating through 14 appearances in a third-line role with time on the second power-play unit. He's a decent depth scorer who can also add some shots and hits to supplement a fantasy roster.

Impact Wilson hasn't scored in five games, but he's logged four assists and 14 hits in that span. The power winger is up to six goals, six helpers, 33 shots on net, 43 hits, 17 blocked shots, 11 PIM and a plus-3 rating through 14 appearances. While he's not on the top line this season, Wilson has gelled with Pierre-Luc Dubois and Connor McMichael on the second line to give the Capitals' offense some depth and dynamism.
