Terik Parascak - Logs three points Saturday
Parascak scored a goal and added two assists in WHL Prince George's 4-3 overtime win over Kamloops on Saturday.
Impact
Parascak ended up having a rough January, earning just two goals and nine helpers over 13 appearances. That's not bad, but it was a drop in production compared to earlier in the season. Overall, he's at 21 goals, 33 assists and a plus-2 rating across 42 appearances for the Cougars this season.

Aliaksei Protas - Plucks two apples in comeback win
Protas distributed two assists and placed three shots on net in Saturday's 4-3 overtime win over Carolina.
Impact
Protas slid a pair of primary helpers Saturday, with the latter of the two coming on Jakob Chychryun's game-tying goal late in the third period. Overall, Protas now has 18 assists, 36 points, 118 shots on net and 31 blocked shots through 53 games this season. Saturday's contest ended his six-game streak with an assist and helped him end January on a high note after struggling through the month, posting just six points. While he likely won't replicate the 66-point campaign he posted across 76 regular-season games a year ago, he should remain heavily involved at even strength, making him a viable fantasy option for the foreseeable future.

Hendrix Lapierre - Sparks comeback with goal
Lapierre scored a goal and put four shots on net in Saturday's 4-3 overtime win over the Hurricanes.
Impact
After the Capitals went down three goals, Lapierre helped start their four-goal rally with a twine finder midway through the second period. Overall, the 23-year-old center is up to two goals, nine points, 41 shots on net and 32 hits through 53 games this season. Despite having his upside capped in a checking-line role, the young center has passed his offensive output of eight points through 27 regular-season games from a year ago, thanks to a trio of points across his last five appearances. Lapierre's recent run of play likely won't warrant him much consideration in standard fantasy leagues, but he remains an intriguing stash in dynasty leagues if he can continue to find the scoresheet.

Jakob Chychrun - One of each in comeback win
Chychrun scored a goal, supplied an assist, fired six shots on net and served two PIM in Saturday's 4-3 overtime win over Carolina.
Impact
Chychrun chipped in a secondary helper on Dylan Strome's goal in the second period before later finding twine himself for the game-tying goal late in the third period. Following Saturday's pair of points, Chychrun is up to 19 goals, 24 assists, 173 shots on net, 45 hits and 74 blocked shots across 54 games this season. With 43 points, he is tied for eighth in the NHL among defensemen. The 27-year-old blueliner is not only firing the puck at an elite rate for a defenseman, but he ranks 13th among all NHL skaters in shots on net. Chychrun is entering elite territory for defensemen in fantasy and is well on the way to posting his first campaign with 50-plus points across his 10-year career.

Dylan Strome - Finds twine in win
Strome tallied a goal and placed three shots on net in Saturday's 4-3 overtime win over the Hurricanes.
Impact
Strome tallied the latter of two goals in the second period for Washington en route to the team's comeback victory. With the twine finder, the 28-year-old center now has 16 goals, 45 points, 108 shots on net and 34 blocked shots across 53 games this season. Since Jan. 11, the Capitals' top-line center has excelled with six goals, 12 points and 30 shots on net across the last 11 games. While his offensive numbers are slightly behind the necessary pace to replicate his point-per-game campaign over 82 games a season ago, Strome is still on track for a highly productive season. Considering his current form, he is well on the way to his fourth consecutive campaign with 65 points or more, making him a strong fantasy option for the rest of the campaign.

Justin Sourdif - Nets OT winner
Sourdif scored the game-winning goal, fired five shots on net and dished out three hits in Saturday's 4-3 overtime win over Carolina.
Impact
Sourdif launched a shot from the left wing before following his own miss to score the game-winning goal on the rebound. With the OT-winning tally, he is up to 12 goals, 25 points, 76 shots on goal, 63 hits and 24 blocked shots across 51 games this season. Following a two-game absence from the scoresheet, his tally Saturday has helped him maintain a point-per-game pace with three goals over the last six games. Since Dec. 31, he has led the Capitals offensively with nine goals and 16 points. The 23-year-old center appears to be a lock for top-six minutes until Pierre-Luc Dubois (abdomen) returns from injured reserve, making Sourdif a top waiver-wire add across most fantasy formats in the interim.

Ivan Miroshnichenko - Picks up three points in AHL win
Miroshnichenko scored twice and added an assist in AHL Hershey's 4-3 overtime win over Utica on Saturday.
Impact
Miroshnichenko has earned two goals and three helpers over five games since he returned to the AHL following a brief stint with the Capitals. Overall, the winger has eight goals and 21 points through 25 appearances for Hershey. That's a pace roughly equal to the 42 points he put up in 53 regular-season outings in 2024-25.

Clay Stevenson - Hangs on for first NHL win
Stevenson turned aside 19 of 22 shots on goal in Saturday's 4-3 overtime win over the Hurricanes.
Impact
Stevenson's first outing began on the wrong foot, as he allowed three consecutive goals inside the opening 24 minutes. From that point, he helped turn the game around as Washington's offense came to life to steal the win from their division rival. The 26-year-old netminder was called into action for the first time this season with Logan Thompson (upper body) and Charlie Lindgren (lower body) sidelined with respective injuries. Saturday's win was the first of Stevenson's career after losing his only other NHL start a season ago. His fantasy value will depend on Thompson's availability, as the Capitals' starting netminder is listed as day-to-day. With Lindgren's move to injured reserve, Stevenson could make a couple of appearances before the break for the 2026 Winter Olympics. If Thompson can't go for Washington's home clash with the Islanders on Monday, Stevenson will likely get the nod.
