In goal Thursday Husso will guard the road goal versus the Predators on Thursday, Brooks Bratten of the Predators' official site reports.

Impact Husso will get the start even though the Ducks still have positioning to play for. He has gone 2-1-1 over his last four games, but he's allowed 16 goals on just 102 shots (.843 save percentage) in that span. The Predators are without a few regulars for their season finale, but Husso will need to do better than he has lately to give the Ducks the best chance of finishing where they want to in the standings.

Poor showing in loss Husso stopped 15 of 19 shots in Saturday's 5-3 loss to the Flames. The fifth goal was an empty-netter.

Impact A three-goal second period for the Flames was the difference. Husso didn't do well despite facing a low shot volume. He's allowed 16 goals on 102 shots over his last four games, going a surprising 2-1-1 in that span. Husso is down to 9-8-2 with a 3.21 GAA and an .887 save percentage across 19 appearances. The Ducks haven't gotten great work out of Lukas Dostal lately, but they may need to ride with their No. 1 for the week ahead, which features no back-to-back sets. The Ducks' next game is Tuesday versus the Predators.

Impact In his last five outings, Husso has registered a 3-2-0 record, 2.60 GAA and .918 save percentage. While the Ducks will want to maintain their spot atop the Pacific Division, Husso could see some extra opportunities down the stretch in order to keep Lukas Dostal fresh for a postseason run.
