Vladislav Kolyachonok - Getting chance to play Kolyachonok played in his fourth straight game Tuesday in a 3-2 overtime win over the Golden Knights.
Impact Kolyachonok was scratched for six straight games after the Penguins plucked him off waivers from Utah. He's since played in the last four games due to injuries to Pierre-Olivier Joseph (upper body) and Ryan Shea (upper body). Kolyachonok was on the top pairing alongside Kris Letang and saw 21:43 of ice time Tuesday. Despite a minus-3 rating across four contests with the Penguins, Kolyachonok looks to be getting an extended audition for 2025-26 -- he's under contract for next season after inking a two-year deal with Utah last June prior to being waived.

Kevin Hayes - Records helper in overtime win Hayes notched an assist in Tuesday's 3-2 overtime win over the Golden Knights.
Impact Hayes remains in a goal drought that's now at 12 games, but he has earned five helpers and 25 shots on net in that span. He is up to 18 points, 80 shots on net, 35 hits and a minus-14 rating across 50 appearances this season. Hayes lined up as the third-line center Tuesday, but he could also be a candidate to play a top-six role on the wing down the stretch.

Erik Karlsson - Nets game-winner in overtime Karlsson scored a goal on three shots in Tuesday's 3-2 overtime win over the Golden Knights.
Impact Karlsson has been pretty good since his time with Team Sweden at the 4 Nations Face-Off, earning three goals and six assists over 10 outings since the NHL resumed play. The 34-year-old defenseman came up clutch Tuesday, tallying from the top of the left circle 49 seconds into overtime to spoil the Golden Knights' comeback attempt. Karlsson is now at nine goals, 47 points, 163 shots on net, 81 blocked shots and a minus-20 rating through 67 appearances this season, giving him an excellent chance to top both 10 goals and 50 points for the third year in a row.

Filip Hallander - Racks up points in Sweden Hallander finished second in the Swedish Hockey League with 53 points this season, Seth Rorabaugh of Tribune-Review Sports reports Wednesday.
Impact Hallander has played in three NHL games over his career, with the most recent outing coming back in 2022-23. Selected by the Pens in the second round of the 2018 NHL Draft, the 24-year-old center excelled in Sweden this year, which could convince Pittsburgh to bring him back from overseas.
