Artturi Lehkonen - Still in non-contact jersey Lehkonen (shoulder) was skating in a non-contact jersey during Wednesday's practice session, Evan Rawal of the Denver Gazette reports.
Impact Lehkonen underwent shoulder surgery in May and has been limited for the start of training camp. Coach Jared Bednar said in mid-September that Lehkonen will be ready to return shortly after he's cleared for contact, but it's not yet clear when that will occur. Over 45 regular-season last year, the 29-year-old tallied 16 goals and 34 points, including seven goals and five assists on the power play.

Akira Schmid - Sent to minors Schmid was moved to AHL Henderson on Wednesday, according to Danny Webster of the Las Vegas Review-Journal.
Impact Schmid had a 3.06 GAA and an .894 save percentage in 23 outings with AHL Utica in 2023-24. He also posted a 3.15 GAA and an .895 save percentage across 19 appearances with New Jersey. Schmid might be summoned to Vegas if Adin Hill or Ilya Samsonov get hurt at any point during the 2024-25 campaign.

Calle Rosen - Going on waivers Rosen will be waived Wednesday. He'll be reassigned to AHL Colorado if he clears.
Impact Rosen recorded an assist in six games with St. Louis in 2023-24. He also provided two goals and 33 points across 68 outings with AHL Springfield. Provided he clears waivers, the Avalanche might recall him at some point during the 2024-25 campaign if they run into injury troubles.

Impact Phillips signed a one-year, two-way contract with the Avalanche in early August, and it appears as though he'll begin the 2024-25 regular season in the AHL. He made 31 regular-season appearances between Pittsburgh and Washington last year, recording a goal and five points.
