Tomas Hertl - Strikes on power play Hertl scored a power-play goal on three shots in Saturday's 4-3 overtime loss to the Ducks.

Impact Hertl saw a five-game point streak end Thursday versus the Mammoth, but he bounced right back Saturday. The 32-year-old's goal late in the first period put the Golden Knights ahead 3-2. Hertl continues to impress in a second-line role, which has seen him produce nine goals, 18 points (seven on the power play), 62 shots on net, 24 hits and a plus-2 rating over 21 appearances.

Akira Schmid - Falls in overtime Schmid gave up four goals on 33 shots in Saturday's 4-3 overtime loss to the Ducks.

Impact This game had firewagon potential after the teams combined for five goals in the first period. Schmid couldn't protect Vegas' 3-2 lead that came out of that, and a turnover in overtime ended up sending him to a defeat, his first in four games. He hasn't lost in regulation since Oct. 25 versus the Panthers. Schmid has been reliable with a 9-1-3 record, a 2.45 GAA and a .902 save percentage in 13 appearances. The 25-year-old netminder started three games in a row for the first time this year, further cementing his status as the No. 1 goalie until Adin Hill (lower body) returns or Carter Hart (suspension) is elevated to the active roster. The Golden Knights' next game is in Utah on Monday.

The 28-year-old has been strong in the AHL this year with with five goals and 11 helpers over 15 appearances, including four multi-point efforts. Should he get another call-up, he could be an option to fill a fourth-line role for Vegas.

Impact Reinhardt snapped a nine-game point drought with the helper. It's encouraging he was allowed to play through the slump -- the Golden Knights seem to value his contributions more than Alexander Holtz's at this stage of the season. Reinhardt has three points, seven shots on net, 27 hits, six PIM and a minus-2 rating over 14 appearances in a fourth-line role this season.

Ben Hutton - Goal in consecutive games Hutton scored a goal, placed four shots on net and recorded a block in Thursday's 4-1 win over Utah.

Impact Hutton scored the second goal of the game just 19 seconds after Jack Eichel netted the team's first score. With the twine finder, the 32-year-old Hutton has two goals, five points, 21 shots on net and 15 blocks through 13 appearances this season. He's stepped up with goals in back-to-back games in the absence of Jeremy Lauzon (undisclosed). While Hutton's inconsistency finding the lineup caps his ceiling in fantasy, it's an encouraging sign to see him firing the puck and being rewarded. If the Golden Knights experience more injuries on the blue line this season, Hutton should see a heightened role.

Impact Thursday marked Theodore's first multi-point performance of the season as he played a hand in the two goals scored by Jack Eichel and Vegas' final goal, scored by Braeden Bowman. With the trio of apples, the 30-year-old Theodore is up to 10 assists, 12 points, 45 shots on goal and 32 blocks through 20 games this season. In the absence of Alex Pietrangelo this season, Theodore is averaging a career high 23:59 time on ice. His increased opportunities, scoring pace with seven points in his last six games, and current health are all reasons to value him as a high-level blueliner in fantasy for the rest of the season.

Impact The newest addition to Vegas' top six continues to impress as Bowman notched the first multi-point game of his young NHL career Thursday. He first had the primary helper on Jack Eichel's goal before the two reversed the roles for Bowman to find twine in the third. Overall, the 22-year-old winger has three goals, one assist and 11 shots on net through his first five career games. Bowman has been entrusted with a large role on the top line and power-play unit and is running with it. With Mark Stone on IR with a wrist injury for the foreseeable future, Bowman will likely hang onto the large role until his return, making the young winger a top streaming option in most fantasy formats.

Impact After a quiet last six games with just three assists in that span, Eichel made a splash Thursday with his first multi-point performance of the month. He scored both of his goals in the second period before plating the primary helper for Braeden Bowman's tally in the third. Overall, the 29-year-old Eichel has 10 goals, 17 assists and 84 shots on net through 20 games this season. While he fell a step behind the league leaders in points over the past two weeks, Vegas' top-line center is still tied for ninth across the NHL with 27 points. As he continues to heat back up and begins to form chemistry with his newest linemate in Bowman, Eichel is set to make another push for the 90-point mark this season after surpassing it with 94 points in 77 regular-season games a year ago.

Impact Schmid's elite run continued Thursday as he allowed just one goal near the midway point in the second period. He's won each of his last three starts and has a 1.33 GAA and a.941 save percentage in that span. Overall, the 25-year-old goaltender has a 9-1-2 record with a 2.33 GAA and a .905 save percentage in 12 appearances this season. Schmid has been one of the top goaltending stories of the season, stepping up for the team's opening night starter Adin Hill, who has been out of the lineup since Oct. 20 with a lower-body injury. Even when Hill returns, Schmid has done more than enough to earn a time share between the pipes for Vegas and should be a solid goaltending option in most fantasy formats for the foreseeable future. His next chance to guard the crease is Saturday in Anaheim.
