Mathieu Joseph - Notches assist in loss Joseph provided an assist and four hits in Thursday's 4-2 loss to the Mammoth.
Impact Joseph has chipped in three helpers across seven contests this season while filling a middle-six role. The 29-year-old winger has added seven shots on net, 23 hits, seven blocked shots and two PIM. Despite the numerous injuries to other forwards, Joseph has yet to carve out much of a power-play role, so his scoring upside is likely to remain limited. He's fallen short of the 15-point mark in each of the last two campaigns.

Shakir Mukhamadullin - Nets first goal of season Mukhamadullin scored a goal and blocked three shots in Thursday's 4-2 loss to the Mammoth.
Impact This was Mukhamadullin's first goal and point of the season. The 24-year-old has filled a third-pairing role and will stay in that spot while Jake Walman (upper body) is on the mend. Mukhamadullin's overall play has left plenty to be desired -- he's at a minus-5 rating, five hits and seven blocked shots over five outings. He has little chance of moving into the top four at any stage of the 2026-27 campaign.

Leon Draisaitl - Puts away goal in loss Draisaitl scored a goal on three shots in Thursday's 4-2 loss to the Mammoth.
Impact Draisaitl has three points over his last two outings. The 30-year-old superstar is at five goals, seven assists, 27 shots on net, four hits and a plus-11 rating across seven contests this season. Head coach Mike Babcock has stuck with Draisaitl alongside Connor McDavid to start the year despite numerous injuries to wingers, which has led to the Oilers having a great top line and little else. Regardless of role, Draisaitl is going to be productive.

Devon Levi - Takes first loss Levi allowed three goals on 23 shots in Thursday's 4-2 loss to the Mammoth. The fourth goal was an empty-netter.
Impact Levi had won all four of his previous outings, but he couldn't get the better of the Mammoth. The 24-year-old netminder has allowed just seven goals over his last four games after giving up that many in his season debut. He's at a 4-1-0 record with a 2.83 GAA and an .897 save percentage through five outings. Levi will back up Tristan Jarry to begin Saturday's rematch versus the Mammoth in Utah. Beyond that, the Oilers look poised to go with the hot hand in goal, but Levi has carved out a slight advantage for playing time so far.

Nick Schmaltz - Deals pair of helpers Schmaltz notched two assists, including one on the power play, in Thursday's 4-2 win over the Oilers.
Impact Schmaltz continues to offer high-end offense to begin the season. This was his third multi-point effort of the year, and he's gotten on the scoresheet in seven of eight games. The 30-year-old forward is up to six goals, five assists, five power-play points, 26 shots on net and a minus-2 rating. Schmaltz often thrives as a playmaker, but after a 33-goal, 74-point regular season in 2025-26, he is poised to be more of an all-purpose threat on offense while adding limited non-scoring production.

Barrett Hayton - Pots power-play goal Hayton scored a power-play goal in Thursday's 4-2 win over the Oilers.
Impact Hayton stretched his point streak to five games with this tally. That stretch accounts for all of his offense (one goal, five assists, two power-play points) on the season. Hayton has added 14 shots on net, five blocked shots, four PIM and a plus-5 rating. He's seeing time on the third line and second power-play unit to begin 2026-27, giving him some appeal in deeper fantasy formats.
30 MINS AGO • ROTOWIRE
Logan Cooley - Posts pair of points Cooley scored a goal on three shots and added a power-play assist in Thursday's 4-2 win over the Oilers.
Impact The goal was Cooley's first of the campaign, and it stood as the game-winner. He's done well as a playmaker on the power-play, which is where he's earned six of his seven assists this season. Over eight contests, he's added eight shots on net, 10 hits and six blocked shots. Cooley has played the last couple of games at left wing with Vincent Trocheck at center. Cooley's already an enticing fantasy option, and he'll be even more useful if he ends up with wing eligibility early in the campaign.
