Heads to AHL Mueller was reassigned to AHL Abbotsford on Friday.

Impact Mueller's move is likely a paper transaction because Vancouver and Abbotsford have both completed the regular season and failed to make the playoffs. The 23-year-old has finished 2025-26 with a goal in six outings with Vancouver as well as 16 goals and 35 points in 59 appearances with Abbotsford.

Impact Mueller's goal was his first point in six games since his April 1 call-up. The 23-year-old added two shots on net, five hits, four blocked shots and two PIM while seeing bottom-six minutes. It was a decent audition for Mueller, who also produced 35 points in 59 AHL outings prior to his call-up. He could compete for a bottom-six job in training camp in the fall.

Called up Wednesday Mueller was recalled from AHL Abbotsford on Wednesday.

Impact Mueller has 16 goals and 19 assists over 59 appearances for the minor-league club in his second AHL campaign. He will join the NHL roster since Evander Kane (undisclosed) is out Wednesday. It's unclear if Mueller will be in the lineup versus the Avalanche, but he could get a look over the last couple of weeks of the regular season.
