Nolan Foote - Heads to AHL for conditioningFoote (undisclosed) was assigned to AHL Utica on Monday for a conditioning stint.
ImpactFoote will finally get to see some game action in the minors after being injured during NHL preseason play. The 23-year-old forward produced 20 goals and 37 points in 55 AHL contests last season. Foote also had one goal in six outings with New Jersey during the 2022-23 campaign.

Cole Koepke - Sent back to minorsKoepke was reassigned to AHL Syracuse on Monday.
ImpactKoepke has played in just nine games at the NHL level this season in which he recorded two assists, 23 hits and nine shots while averaging a mere 6:42 of ice time. While Koepke figures to remain on the shortlist of potential call-ups, he will likely spend the bulk of the season in the minors.

Tyler Toffoli - Pots goal No. 25Toffoli scored a power-play goal in Sunday's 4-1 loss to the Ligtning.
ImpactHis tally early in the second period cut the Devils' deficit to 2-1, but it was as close as they got on the afternoon. Toffoli extended his point streak to six games with the tally, and the 31-year-old winger has 25 goals on the season -- the fourth time in his career he's reached that mark.

Akira Schmid - Stuck with loss in return to NHLSchmid stopped 23 of 26 shots in Sunday's 4-1 loss to the Lightning, with Tampa Bay's final goal coming into an empty net.
ImpactMaking his first NHL start since Dec. 21, Schmid kept the Bolts off the scoreboard through the first period but things unraveled quickly to begin the second, as he was beaten twice in the first five minutes. The 23-year-old netminder hadn't been particularly impressive during his stint with AHL Utica, and his 3.47 GAA and .886 save percentage through 13 games for the minor-league club are actually worse than his 3.24 GAA and .892 save percentage in 16 contests for the Devils. Schmid will need to perform much better to put any pressure on Nico Daws for the top spot in the crease.

Victor Hedman - Two-point effort SundayHedman delivered a goal and an assist in Sunday's 4-1 win over the Devils.
ImpactThe blueliner also added six blocked shots, two shots on net, one hit and a plus-4 rating to his ledger. Hedman has produced back-to-back multi-point performances, and over the last 16 games he's racked up three goals and 19 points with 36 shots on net, 25 blocked shots, 16 hits, 16 PIM and a plus-11 rating.

Brayden Point - Two points in JerseyPoint scored the game-winning goal and added an assist in Sunday's 4-1 victory over the Devils.
ImpactThe 27-year-old made his 30th goal 0of the season count, breaking through the New Jersey defense and getting behind a sprawling Akira Schmid before banking the puck into the net off the goalie's pads. Point has a six-game point streak going in which he's collected five goals and eight points, and he's on pace for the third 80-point campaign of his career.

Brandon Hagel - Three points in Sunday's winHagel produced a goal and two assists with two shots on net and a plus-4 rating in Sunday's 4-1 win over the Devils.
ImpactSkating on a line with NHL scoring leader Nikita Kucherov has its perks. Hagel extended his point streak to 13 games with the impressive performance, a stretch in which the 25-year-old winger has nine goals and 20 points. He sits just two points short of reaching 60 for the second straight season as he surged toward a career-best campaign.
