Nicolas Hague - Set to miss 4-6 weeks Hague (upper body) is expected to miss the next 4-6 weeks, Brooks Bratten of the Predators' official site reports Wednesday.
Impact Hague sustained the injury during Sunday's preseason game. He had five goals, 12 points, 40 PIM, 82 hits and 74 blocks across 68 regular-season appearances in 2024-25. Hague's absence makes it more likely that Nick Blankenburg will start the regular season as a member of the third pairing, though Jordan Oesterle and Andreas Englund are presumably competing with Blankenburg for that spot.

Cameron Reid - Recovers from injury Reid (upper body) rejoined the Predators for Wednesday's practice.
Impact Reid hadn't been able to participate in the early stages of training camp due to the injury, but it seems that's now behind him. The 18-year-old is likely to start the upcoming campaign with OHL Kitchener after scoring 14 goals and 54 points across 67 regular-season appearances with that squad last year.

Tanner Molendyk - Resumes practicing Molendyk (lower body) participated in Wednesday's practice.
Impact It seems Molendyk is back on track after missing Tuesday's preseason game. The 20-year-old is a highly regarded prospect who had nine goals and 47 points across 49 regular-season WHL appearances between Saskatoon and Medicine Hat last year. However, Molendyk probably needs more time to develop before making his NHL debut, so he's unlikely to make Nashville's Opening Night roster.
