Andrei Vasilevskiy - Set to start Wednesday Vasilevskiy is expected to start at home against Washington on Wednesday, according to Benjamin Pierce of the Lightning's official site.

Impact Vasilevskiy has a 10-6-1 record, 2.24 GAA and .915 save percentage in 17 appearances in 2024-25. He's coming off an 8-2 victory over the Avalanche on Monday in which he stopped 23 of 25 shots. Washington is tied for first offensively with 4.05 goals per game, though the Capitals are a bit less of a scoring juggernaut without Alex Ovechkin (lower leg).

Impact Cernak has earned three assists over 10 games in November. That's about as good a scoring pace as anyone can expect from the 27-year-old blueliner, who fills a shutdown role on the Lightning's second pairing. He's earned six helpers, 15 shots on net, 12 PIM, a plus-7 rating, 31 hits and 28 blocked shots over 20 appearances in 2024-25.

Zemgus Girgensons - Produces helper in big win Girgensons notched an assist and four blocked shots in Monday's 8-2 win over the Avalanche.

Impact Girgensons' helper was the 100th of his career. The 30-year-old forward has 189 points over 708 appearances, with much of his time in the NHL coming as a bottom-six player. This year, he's produced just the one assist in addition to 29 hits, 22 PIM, 17 shots on net, 13 blocked shots and a minus-2 rating over his first 20 outings with the Lightning after a 10-year tenure with the Sabres. Girgensons has finished between 14 and 19 points in each of the last eight years, but he'll have some work to do to get to that level in 2024-25.

Michael Eyssimont - Tacks on goal Monday Eyssimont scored a goal on five shots and went plus-2 in Monday's 8-2 win over the Avalanche.

Impact This was his first goal and second point of the campaign, ending an 11-game slump. Eyssimont has been a bottom-six fixture since he made his season debut Oct. 15 after missing Opening Night. He's added 36 shots on net, 18 hits, 24 PIM and a minus-1 rating through 19 contests. Eyssimont can chip in depth scoring, as evidenced by his 25-point campaign in 2023-24, but he's also down 1:07 of ice time per game in 2024-25, which limits his opportunities to contribute.

Impact Glendening's first-period tally extended the Lightning's lead to 4-1. It was his first point of the season, though the defensive center has been a fixture on the fourth line. He's added 13 shots on net, 19 blocked shots and 33 hits through 20 appearances. Glendening is more valuable to the Lightning than he is to fantasy managers.

Impact Chaffee left Monday's 8-2 win over Colorado in the second period and didn't return. He has earned five goals, nine points, 19 shots on net and 25 hits over 20 appearances this season. If Chaffee can't play Wednesday against Washington, Cam Atkinson will probably suit up after being a healthy scratch for the last two games.

During that span, Vasilevskiy has gone 4-1-1 with a 1.64 GAA and a .936 save percentage.

Point has been productive since returning to the lineup following a lower-body injury that sidelined him for four games between Nov. 5 and Nov. 16, notching four goals, including two on the power play, in his last four appearances.

Fantasy managers shouldn't be overly optimistic about this performance, however, as Perbix isn't expected to crack the scoresheet with any sort of consistency going forward. He's better suited to have impact in fantasy formats that reward stats such as hits and blocked shots.

Jake Guentzel - Nets two goals Monday Guentzel scored two goals, including one on the power play, in Monday's 8-2 win over the Avalanche.

Impact Guentzel found the back of the net in the early stages of the first period following set-ups from Brandon Hagel and Nikita Kucherov on the power play. He'd later double his tally just three minutes into the final frame on a set-up from Nick Perbix, giving him nine goals on the year. Guentzel has seven multi-point games this season, including three across his last six outings. The 30-year-old is up to 20 points in 20 games this season, and he should continue to find ample opportunities to keep producing as long as he remains in the top line alongside Brayden Point and Kucherov.

Impact Kucherov snapped a five-game scoring drought with his goal midway through the first period, and it was his 12th of the campaign. Not content with that, the star winger also set up two goals on the power play, one scored by Jake Guentzel and the other by Brayden Point, to reach 20 helpers in the campaign. The 31-year-old has been on a tear of late, recording points in all but two of his previous 11 games and notching six multi-point efforts in that span.
