Bo Horvat - Lights lamp in winHorvat scored a goal on six shots in Tuesday's 4-2 win over the Blues.
ImpactHorvat scored his 24th goal of the year early in the third period that eventually counted as the game winner. It propelled the Islanders to their fourth straight win as they make a solid push for a playoff spot. The 28-year old center had six shots on net and three hits in 18:02 of ice time. Since the start of January, Horvat only has eight points (four goals and four assists) in 12 games played. Managers may have to look to other options for scoring as Horvat has not become the point-a-game player that the Islanders had hoped for.

Adam Pelech - Pockets two assistsPelech recorded two assists and one hit in Tuesday's 4-2 win over the Blues.
ImpactWith 23:43 of ice time, Pelech played the second most minutes for the Islanders and provided two assists to help the Islanders win their fourth consecutive game. In his past eight games, the 29-year old first pairing defenseman has one goal, five assists, 16 blocked shots, 10 shots on goal and 10 hits. Pelech is limited in his point production - he only has 11 points in 37 games played - but is a solid option for leagues that value blocked shots.

Joel Hofer - Handed loss TuesdayHofer stopped 29 of 32 shots in Tuesday's 4-2 loss to the Islanders. The fourth goal was an empty-netter.
ImpactThe Blues struck first, getting a two-goal lead in the second period but the Islanders bounced back with four consecutive goals - three on Hofer - for the win. This is now four losses in a row for Hofer and he has not won a game since Feb. 10. Hofer is an intriguing young goalie with upside, but the uncertainty surrounding his playing time and the struggles of the Blues makes him a risky play in most fantasy leagues.

Ilya Sorokin - Light work in winSorokin allowed two goals on 21 shots in a 4-2 win over the Blues on Tuesday.
ImpactThe Blues struck first on Sorokin, getting a two-goal lead in the second period but he was able to kick aside the remaining 10 shots sent his way for the win. Sorokin has been hot as of late as this was his fourth win in a row and he has not allowed more than three goals since Feb. 20. The Islanders, now with four consecutive wins, are still in the playoff hunt. This could lead to increased workload for Sorokin, providing an opportunity for additional wins and continued strong stats.
