Impact Nikita Kucherov spoiled his shutout bid late in the third period with a one-timer off a faceoff in the Florida zone, but it was otherwise a stellar effort from Knight. The 23-year-old netminder needed a good performance after a bumpy beginning to his preseason. Knight spent all of last season in the AHL as he learned to tame his OCD, but he could be ready for another crack at the NHL as Sergei Bobrovsky's backup.
