Demoted to minors Miletic was reassigned to AHL Wilkes-Barre/Scranton on Thursday.

Impact Miletic has appeared in a game for the Pens this season and is unlikely to do so even if brought back to the taxi squad at some point. Still, with the raft of forward injuries beleaguering the Penguins, it could be all hands on deck down the stretch, especially if Kasperi Kapanen (lower body) is out or any length of time.

Fails to make Phase 4 Miletic was left off the team's final 31-man roster for the playoffs, Seth Rorabaugh of TribLive.com reports.

Impact This news isn't quite surprising, considering the 23-year-old has yet to see an NHL action in his career. Along with Miletic, the team cut Sam Poulin and goaltender Alex D'Orio.

Added to camp roster Joseph has been included in the Penguins' training camp roster.

Impact Acquired by the club as part of the Phil Kessel deal, Joseph registered 17 points in 52 games for AHL Wilkes-Barre/Scranton this season. A strong camp from the 21-year-old defenseman could convince the club to give him a spot on the 23-man roster ahead of the 2020-21 campaign and to part ways with Juuso Riikola. In addition to Joseph, the club brought in forwards Philip Varone, Adam Johnson, Sam Miletic and Samuel Poulin, defenseman Kevin Czuczman and netminders Casey DeSmith and Alex D'Orio.
