More details regarding Foerster's injury may be revealed if the team decides to announce what the results of the winger's MRI are. Thomas Novak - Buries power-play goal in win Novak scored a power-play goal in Monday's 5-1 win over the Flyers.
Impact Novak has three points over his last three games. He's been on the second line in recent contests, which could be a spot that allows him to maintain decent offense. He's more of a supporting player on this team with three goals, 10 points, 33 shots on net and a minus-3 rating over 25 appearances this season.

Kevin Hayes - Pads lead Monday Hayes scored a goal and added two hits in Monday's 5-1 win over the Flyers.
Impact Hayes scored at 15:33 of the third period for the last goal in the game. The 33-year-old has received a look on the top line, recently, but that's likely to be a short-term gig if Rutger McGroarty can adjust to the NHL quickly. Hayes has two goals, four points, 17 shots on net, 12 hits and a plus-2 rating over his 10 appearances this season.

Tyson Foerster - Undergoes MRI Foerster (upper body) had an MRI on Tuesday, though the team hasn't released any details regarding his injury, Kevin Kurz of The Athletic reports.
Impact Foerster was forced to exit Monday's matchup with the Penguins after suffering his upper-body injury. Since returning from a previous four-game absence in early November, the 23-year-old winger scored six goals in 10 games, including one with the man advantage. If Foerster does miss any time, it would likely open up a spot in the top six for Matvei Michkov. While not officially ruled out, it seems unlikely Foerster will suit up versus the Sabres on Wednesday.
