Owen Pickering - Returned to AHL Pickering was assigned to AHL Wilkes-Barre/Scranton on Tuesday.
Impact Pittsburgh recalled Ryan Graves from the minors in a corresponding move. Pickering hasn't earned a point in four NHL outings this season while supplying one shot on goal, two blocked shots and one hit. He has one goal and three assists in seven AHL appearances this campaign.

Impact Graves was called up while Owen Pickering was sent down to the minor-league team in a corresponding move. With injuries stacking up around the Penguins' roster, it appears they want to take a more veteran approach to their lineup for a while. Graves will contend for third-pairing minutes in the NHL while Pickering takes on a large role on the farm.

Impact Pittsburgh recalled Danton Heinen from AHL Wilkes-Barre/Scranton in a corresponding move. Acciari will miss at least the next three games, beginning with Thursday's matchup against Washington, after being hurt in Monday's 4-3 loss to Toronto. However, it is unclear when he will be available to return to the lineup. He has contributed three assists, 11 shots on goal, 10 blocked shots and 18 hits in 13 appearances this season.

Impact The Penguins are dealing with a number of injuries up front, and Heinen will help replenish the team's depth. He can be expected to contend for bottom-six minutes while with the big club.

Impact Brazeau will miss his third straight game against Washington on Thursday, and it's unclear when he will be able to return to the lineup. He has collected six goals, 12 points, 22 shots on net, 12 blocked shots and 17 hits through 12 appearances this season. Due to Brazeu's absence, Philip Tomasino has been skating on Pittsburgh's second line.

Impact In a corresponding move, the Penguins placed Tristan Jarry (undisclosed) on injured reserve. Murashov has posted a 5-2-0 record with a 1.73 GAA and a .931 save percentage through seven minor-league appearances this season. He might make his NHL debut at New Jersey on Saturday or in Sunday's home matchup versus the Kings.

Impact Pittsburgh recalled Sergei Murashov from AHL Wilkes-Barre/Scranton in a corresponding move. Jarry stopped 16 shots in a 4-3 loss to Toronto on Monday. As a result of moving to the IR list, he will be out of action for at least the next three games, starting with Thursday's home matchup against Washington. He has posted a 5-2-0 record this season while surrendering 18 goals on 202 shots. Arturs Silovs will probably see the majority of the starts for the Penguins during Jarry's absence.

Impact The 18-year-old rookie recorded his first multi-goal performance in the NHL, and Kindel's efforts helped give the Penguins a 3-0 lead heading into the third period, only for everything to come crashing down over the final 20 minutes.
