Emil Andrae - Recalled to big club Andrae has been recalled from AHL Lehigh Valley by the Flyers, the team announced Sunday.
Impact Andrae played 42 games with the Flyers last season, registering one goal and six assists, but started this year in the minors. After one game with Lehigh Valley in which the 23-year-old had two assists, the Flyers are bringing him back up to the NHL level with Dennis Gilbert going down to the AHL in a corresponding move. It remains to be seen whether or not he was brought up to play immediately or serve as NHL depth.

Dennis Gilbert - Loaned to AHL affiliate Gilbert was assigned to AHL Lehigh Valley on Sunday.
Impact In a corresponding move, the Flyers recalled Emil Andrae from the minors. Gilbert was a healthy scratch for the first two games of the campaign. He had six assists, nine shots on net, 36 blocked shots and 63 hits across 29 regular-season appearances between Buffalo and Ottawa in 2024-25.

Devin Kaplan - Two goals in AHL debut Kaplan scored twice in AHL Lehigh Valley's 5-2 win over Belleville on Saturday.
Impact Kaplan made his NHL debut in the last game of the Flyers' 2024-25 campaign. He didn't make the team out of camp, but he'll get time to further develop in the AHL with the Phantoms. He's off to a good start and should play a large role for the minor-league club. The 21-year-old had 18 points in 38 appearances for Boston University in 2024-25, so he will have some room to grow.

Bradly Nadeau - Starts AHL season with two points Nadeau scored a goal on three shots and added an assist in AHL Chicago's 4-1 win over Iowa on Saturday.
Impact Nadeau is among the best prospects not playing in the NHL currently. The Hurricanes weren't able to make room for him out of training camp, but he's knocking on the door of a call-up. He torched the AHL for 32 goals and 58 points in 64 regular-season appearances last year and added an assist in two games at the NHL level. Keep an eye on Nadeau's production -- it might take only one injury in Carolina for the 20-year-old to get his chance.

Domenick Fensore - Two points in minor-league game Fensore scored a goal on two shots and added an assist in AHL Chicago's 4-1 win over Iowa on Saturday.
Impact Fensore had 32 points over 67 regular-season games a year ago, and he earned his first two NHL appearances at the tail end of 2024-25. He'll likely need to a show a little more on offense to be a realistic call-up candidate for the Hurricanes this year, though that opportunity won't surface if Carolina's defense corps stays healthy.

Tyson Foerster - Records helper Foerster notched an assist and three shots on goal in Saturday's 4-3 overtime loss to the Hurricanes.
Impact Foerster missed time in training camp while getting back to 100 percent after dealing with an elbow infection that required a procedure. The 23-year-old winger has filled a third-line role to start 2025-26, and he's earned an assist in each of the first two games. He's added five shots on net and a plus-2 rating. The Flyers' top three lines are still fairly interchangeable, so Foerster remains in a good spot to build on his 25-goal, 43-point campaign from 2024-25.
