Emil Andrae - Deals power-play helper Andrae logged a power-play assist, four shots on goal and two blocked shots in Monday's 4-3 shootout win over the Sharks.

Impact Andrae has played fairly well since his Oct. 26 recall, but he has little to show for it. The 22-year-old defenseman has two helpers, an even plus-minus rating, 11 shots on net, 13 hits and nine blocked shots over eight contests. Andrae has seen steady top-four usage due to injuries on the Flyers' blue line, but he may be at risk of being sent down to AHL Lehigh Valley once both of Cam York and Jamie Drysdale return from their respective upper-body injuries.

Egor Zamula - Posts assist Zamula logged an assist and went plus-2 in Monday's 4-3 shootout win over the Sharks.

Impact Zamula has played in four straight games, and he'll have a little security to stay in the lineup until Cam York (upper body) returns. The helper was Zamula's third of the season, snapping a four-game point drought. The 24-year-old blueliner has added nine shots on net, 18 blocked shots and a minus-10 rating across 12 appearances, mainly in a third-pairing role with power-play time.

Erik Johnson - Scores, fights in win Johnson scored a goal and added a fighting major in Tuesday's 4-3 shootout win over the Sharks.

Impact Johnson was busy in the first two minutes of the game, scoring the opening goal and fighting Givani Smith. This was Johnson's first game back in the lineup after being a healthy scratch for three contests. He took Jamie Drysdale's (upper body) place in the lineup, though Johnson may return to the press box once Cam York (upper body) is cleared to play. Through 11 appearances, Johnson has two points, four shots on net, 19 hits, eight blocked shots and nine PIM.

Travis Konecny - Tallies on power play Konecny scored a power-play goal on five shots in Monday's 4-3 shootout win over the Sharks.

Impact Konecny gave the Flyers a 2-0 lead with his first-period tally, extending his point streak to four games (three goals, four assists) in the process. The Flyers would blow a three-goal lead in regulation, but Konecny sealed the win with his shootout tally. The winger is off to a fantastic start with eight goals, nine assists, 43 shots on net, 26 hits and 23 PIM over 16 contests, though nine of his points have been collected in two explosive performances. Still, the 27-year-old is about as much of a sure thing as there is in the Flyers' lineup.

Matvei Michkov - Plays hero in return to lineup Michkov scored an even-strength goal and added a power-play assist in Monday's 4-3 shootout win over the Sharks.

Impact After getting parked in the press box by coach John Tortorella the last two games, Michkov returned to the lineup and made an immediate impact. The rookie winger set up Travis Konecny for a tally in the first period then scored on a breakaway early in the second to give the Flyers a 3-0 lead. When that didn't prove to be enough, Michkov beat Vitek Vanecek again for the first successful attempt in the shootout. Michkov was also a plus-2 on the night, and it's his defensive-zone work that Tortorella wants the seventh overall pick in the 2023 Draft to focus on. There have been no complaints about Michkov's offense, and through his first 14 NHL games he's produced five goals and 12 points, with eight of them (three goals, five helpers) coming on the power play.

Samuel Ersson - Hangs on for shootout win Ersson turned aside 28 shots in regulation and overtime and both shootout attempts he faced in Monday's 4-3 win over the Sharks.

Impact The 25-year-old netminder appeared to have things well in hand when Matvei Michkov gave the Flyers a 3-0 lead early in the second period, but a furious comeback by the Sharks forced extra time. Ersson didn't get rattled though and denied Macklin Celebrini and Will Smith in the shootout to secure the victory. Ersson hasn't lost in regulation since Oct. 22, going 4-0-1 over his last six appearances with a 2.27 GAA and .915 save percentage, and he has a firm hold of the top job in the crease for Philly.

Jamie Drysdale - Surfaces on IR Drysdale (undisclosed) was placed on injured reserve Monday, according to Jonathan Bailey of Philly Hockey Now.

Impact Drysdale won't play Monday versus San Jose, and his placement on IR will make him ineligible to return until at least Nov. 18 versus Colorado. The 22-year-old blueliner has one goal, two assists, 12 shots on net and 28 blocked shots through 15 appearances this season. Erik Johnson will replace Drysdale in Monday's lineup.
