Thomas Chabot - Will miss at least four weeks Chabot (lower body) is expected to miss at least four weeks, Darren Dreger of TSN reports Thursday.
Impact Chabot returned from a hand injury Friday, but he played in just two contests before being hurt again. It's been a difficult campaign for the 26-year-old defenseman, who has four assists, three hits and 20 blocks in nine appearances. Erik Brannstrom is likely to continue to play regularly while Chabot is unavailable.

Impact Brannstrom had just one multi-point game in 74 games last season, so fantasy players probably shouldn't be banking on him producing at a high level. In fact, the 24-year-old defenseman has never reached the 20-point threshold in his five-year NHL career and will be hard-pressed to do so this time around either.

Claude Giroux - Two-point effort Tuesday Giroux produced a goal on six shots with an assist and a plus-3 rating in Tuesday's 6-2 win over the Rangers.
Impact Both points came in the first period as Ottawa jumped out to a 2-0 lead they wouldn't relinquish. Giroux has been as steady as ever to begin the season, and the 35-year-old has collected seven goals and 19 points through 20 games as he attempts to reach the 80-point plateau for the first time since 2018-19.

Artem Zub - Two helpers in Tuesday's win Zub picked up two assists in Tuesday's 6-2 win over the Rangers.
Impact Both helpers came on Brady Tkachuk goals -- Zub's point shot got tipped home in the first period, while his effort in the second was a miscue that sailed wide but wound up caroming off the end boards straight to Tkachuk at the side of the net. It's Zub's first multi-point performance of the season, but the 28-year-old blueliner has been surprisingly productive around a concussion that cost him a few weeks of action, racking up two goals and seven points in 13 games despite a lack of power-play time.

Brady Tkachuk - Lights lamp twice in win Tkachuk scored two goals on a game-high eight shots on net while adding a hit, a blocked shot and a plus-3 rating in Tuesday's 6-2 win over the Rangers.
Impact He opened the scoring midway through the first period by tipping home an Artem Zub shot from the blue line, and the duo teamed up again late in the second -- this time Zub's shot went way wide, but the bounce off the end boards set Tkachuk up for an easy tap-in. It's the sixth multi-goal performance of the season for Tkachuk, who's amassed 13 tallies and 19 points through 20 games.

Impact The veteran winger gave the Senators a 3-1 lead early in the second period by snapping a shot from the faceoff dot over Igor Shesterkin's glove and off the crossbar, before icing things with an empty-netter in the third. Tarasenko broke out of a 13-game goal drought with the performance, and on the season he's up to five goals and 17 points through 20 contests.

Impact He potted Ottawa's fourth tally of the night midway through the second period, chipping home the rebound on a Vladimir Tarasenko shot to complete an odd-man rush. Batherson has found the scoresheet in three straight games and has four multi-point performances in the last eight, piling up five goals and 11 points over the latter stretch.

Anton Forsberg - Notches fifth win Forsberg stopped 33 shots in Tuesday's 6-2 win over the Rangers.
Impact The 31-year-old netminder won for the third time in his last four starts with a sharp performance during a game in which the Senators never trailed. Forsberg remains erratic, however -- he's given up a total of three goals in those three victories, but he's coughed up five goals in each of his other two starts over the last month. While Joonas Korpisalo's own bumpy recent form has resulted in the two goalies falling into something of a timeshare, Forsberg's 5-4-0 record, 2.90 GAA and .891 save percentage on the season aren't particularly impressive.

The Rangers are a much more challenging opponent -- they've won six of their last eight games.

Stutzle (229 games) is the fourth-fastest flyer in Sens' history to hit 200 points (Dany Heatley, 159; Jason Spezza, 207; Alexei Yashin, 221). He's pacing toward his second straight 90-point season.

Impact Forsberg came into Saturday with an .850 save percentage, which was the lowest in the NHL among netminders with five or more games played. But he was dialled in and especially strong in the third when the Kraken outshot the Sens 15-3. It was Forsberg's first shutout this season (seven games), and his fourth in the NHL. Unfortunately, neither he nor Joonas Korpisalo have impressed this season, but this performance almost warrants another run in the blue paint.
