Impact Dansk's demotion comes after he's served as backup goalie behind Lukas Dostal while John Gibson (upper body) has been out since his injury last Saturday versus the Bruins. While this doesn't guarantee that Gibson is healthy, if Dansk remains in the minors leading up to Saturday's game versus the Blackhawks, it should be assumed that the Ducks will move forward with their usual top-two goalies.

Impact Dansk will join the Ducks ahead of Sunday's matchup in Detroit after John Gibson (upper body) suffered an injury in Saturday's game. The 30-year-old Dansk, who figures to backup Lukas Dostal, has not appeared in an NHL game since 2020 when he made one start for the Golden Knights.

Impact Dansk provided a record of 11-12-3 with a 3.22 GAA and an .897 save percentage across 27 regular-season appearances with AHL Calgary in 2023-24. If the 30-year-old clears waivers and heads to AHL San Diego, Calle Clang could begin the 2024-25 campaign as Lukas Dostal's backup due to the absence of John Gibson (abdomen).
