Jesper Bratt - Sets up lone goal in Sunday's loss Bratt notched an assist, three shots on goal and two hits in Sunday's 4-1 loss to the Hurricanes in Game 1.

Impact Bratt set up a Nico Hischier tally late in the second period, but that was all the Devils could put on the board. Bratt had one game off at the end of the regular season for rest after going four contests without a point. The Devils have a tough first-round matchup, so they'll need Bratt to get back into the form that saw him rack up a career-high 88 points over 81 regular-season outings.

Jaccob Slavin - Offers helper in Game 1 win Slavin notched an assist and three shots on goal in Sunday's 4-1 win over the Devils in Game 1.

Impact Slavin will be relied on for his defense during the playoffs, but he can chip in some offense as well. The defenseman had three assists over his last seven regular-season appearances before resting for two games leading into the postseason. He had a total of 27 points, 110 shots on net, 136 blocked shots and a plus-16 rating over 80 regular-season outings in a top-pairing role.

Eric Robinson - Picks up assist in Game 1 Robinson notched an assist, four shots on goal and eight hits in Sunday's 4-1 win over the Devils in Game 1.

Impact Robinson ended the regular season on a seven-game point drought, but it didn't take him long to get on the scoresheet in the playoff opener. He set up a Jalen Chatfield goal at 2:24 of the first period. Robinson was effective in a variety of roles with 14 goals, 32 points, 110 shots on net and 123 hits over 82 regular-season contests. He began the postseason on the fourth line but could move into the middle six if head coach Rod Brind'Amour shuffles his forward trios at at point.

Nico Hischier - Nets goal in Game 1 loss Hischier scored a goal, put three shots on net, and recorded three blocks in Sunday's 4-1 loss to the Hurricanes in Game 1.

Impact Hischier lit the lamp for New Jersey's lone goal Sunday late into the second period off a feed from linemate Jesper Bratt. While Hischier posted 69 points in 75 appearances in the regular season, he brought his hot streak offensively into the first game of the postseason as he now has 11 points in his last eight games. With Jack Hughes out for the season with a shoulder injury, Hischier will lead New Jersey's center unit and see plenty of ice time on the team's top line for the postseason.
